Living in Spain? Drop your deets here?!?

"Prices are being inflated by a lot of foreign buyers, particularly Ukrainian and other Eastern Europeans. I personally love where I am which is far away from the English enclaves. " we would not mind a quiet spot as long as we could get to a nudest beach, few bars and restaurants and transport

"Where is cheepest to buy at the moment, i know prices are gone a bit crazy at moment, we are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment with a private sunbathing area to strip off and enjoy the sun."
Here on Orihuela Costa prices have risen considerably in the last few years.
After the 2008 crash prices fell steadily until they bottomed out in 2014/15.
Since then an apartment that could have been bought for 50/60 grand is now around double that. In some cases more.
We bought a town house in 2016 for 75k and sold it in 2022 for 125k. Now one on the same block is for sale at 175k.
Prices are still rising and where/when they will peak is anybody's guess.
Compared to other parts of Spain Torrevieja/Orihuela Costa is still good value. For "cheapest" there are still some bargains in the villages a bit inland.

Housing in Spain is a big issue at the moment. In most if not all coastal towns and cities, prices have risen drastically over the last 10 years, and in many places being able to afford a home to buy or rent is becoming far too difficult/borderline impossible.
Many factors, not enough social housing being built, apartments being bought to rent out on Airbnb, foreign investors etc.
There will be places in land that are cheaper. The downside is there often isn't really much infrastructure in these types of places so you can find yourself a bit stuck. |

Hi all, I have an apartment in Malaga Centro (second year in) and working towards spending more time there in the future, at the moment I get out a few times a year, tricky at the moment as I’m travelling to other countries for work.
When I’m out I try and get to the clubs in Torremelinos and Benalmadena and have met people from Fab and hope to meet more.
Hatching a plan to be in Malaga either next weekend or the weekend after.
Interested in meeting couples (I’m straight but like group play) and women - meet at clubs, in town for socials or on a nudist beach, had one great meet at Playa Marina before.
Cheers
V
