So… regular visitors to PDI, love the island in general and always have a fantastic time meeting great people. Our last few visits we’ve found we have spent more time in non swinger type establishments and ventured out a bit ( whilst still having a ton of fun)… so the question is where is your favourite ‘non swinger’ place to visit/thing to do. Ours is every trip we visit and have a great evening at cafe del Mar in Melonares

As we're both Metal Heads, we go to the Turbo Rock Pub, and then onto bar rendezvous in Yumbo

We love Murphys in the Kasbah as we always stay a stones throw from it. We've also taken a fancy to Keanes bar for the live music, the fella that plays most nights is a flipping good guitarist

Turbo Rock Bar.

Love walking the beach from kiosk 3 to 6 then across the Dunes up to the Rio.

The market is good to fill in a couple of hours too.

Andy the karaoke man at murphys is a great laugh...abril the little Argentinian behind the bar treats the regulars well

If you're feeling brave, Teror in the mountains, has a massive market on Sundays

I think there is a bus, but don't quote me

The whole village closes, apart from entry and exit, and there are food stalls, entertainment, market stalls etc, its lovely

Recommended road trips.

Every year we have done a day out with Fab friends who hire a car. A couple of great places we've visited/recommend:

Agaete/ Puerto de las Nieves.

Northwest of the island

Spectacular views and fab restaurants overlooking the harbour.

Barranco de las Vacas.

One of the most photographed places on the island. You'll need to do your homework on where to find it, parking the car and the walk down
