Most swingers’ clubs in Gran Canaria seem to be surprisingly situated in shopping centres, this is probably due to their commercial licence use, or perhaps for discretion as patrons can take a taxi to a Shopping Centre keeping their final destination to themselves. It is evident that swingers’ clubs not only are legal in Spain but also considered trouble free, locals relate to Swingers as a group of highly sexual minority who enjoy socialising together in private clubs to carry out consensual adult activities without abusing alcohol and then to leave quietly at the end of the evening. Most clubs allow patrons to smoke indoors that does not suit everyone and also insist that everyone undresses to stay in the premises, which although this might be a German and/or Dutch style, it is not necessarily for English and/or Italians who enjoy dressing up to socialise first and perhaps get naked later, when and if required in the play areas which is considered part of the sexy fun!

A large variety of Swingers Clubs seems to be concentrated in the Cita not quite sure why this is so... there is absolutely nothing so special about this Centre in fact there are better Shopping Centres where you could go to in the evenings, for example Yumbo a centre more famous for the Gays scene is much more welcoming with better and classier restaurants and bars to hang around and to generally have a stroll in the evening if you can accept the gay scene that is… apart from that it’s pretty safe really!

The best place to sunbathe naked is without any doubt at the Infamous Dunes and more specifically at Kiosk 4 which is for swingers with an adjoining section next to it for Gays. It is quite a walk to get to but it’s worthwhile because being so far away, makes it very discreet and on the way behind the bushes you can see a lot of exhibitionism / dogging with dirty old men enjoying the show wanking themselves along the way but who will not approach you unless invited. Phew!

Nightlife in Spain starts very late, so it’s better to meet other like-minded people at one of the famous meeting point for swingers such as Come Back Bar or Poison Bar situated in the Cita Shopping Centre and/or Imagine Bar in Chaparral whose owners will be happy to provide you with more information on where to go and what to do when in Gran Canaria, however this is what we have came up from our marketing research:

Swingers Clubs

• ETERNITY welcoming and horny reception on the ground floor with a huge staircase promoting ‘behind closed doors’ activities in the basement which encourage curiosity. The Bar area is situated in the centre, the socialising space is limited, but helps to make the club look full with fewer people. The four poster bed under the staircase is an interesting idea, by the side lockable cabinets with a key to be requested at the bar. Play areas situated on an L shape at the two perimetral sides of the bar with interesting and individual rooms insinuating a maze with intriguing hiding holes for players on a continuous loop with a large Jacuzzi and showers at the far end which works very well. Excellent choice of music, disco at the beginning turning into much smoother sensual background music after midnight, there is no doubt that who owns this club understands what swingers want. The clientèle is mainly Spanish, but very hard to make friendship, couples seem not to mingle as much as in other clubs, they are all there for a night out by themselves, no efforts to socialise, hardly any swapping at all, in fact individual couples either play by themselves near others or even lock themselves in private rooms drawing the curtains as well. OK it is understandable that this is up to individual preferences but everyone does that in the club?

• 2 x 2 it’s amazing what has been achieved in such a small place, this club for the relatively small size has everything you need and works very well. A trendy and workable bar purposely designed and equipped to handle a large crowd of drinkers which is how most clubs make their money for the entrance is relatively cheap comparing with UK clubs. The etiquette is to make all patrons undress with underwear by 23:00 hours which suits more a German clientèle, there is no reception, but everything is handled by a couple of girls who also work behind the bar (this is to show how safe clubs are in Spain). The socialising area works very well and there is also a discreet external smoking area, perhaps the play area is too small but the size of the club is limited. The selection of music could be improved for they play loud disco music throughout the night. Because this place is notorious for Gang Bangs and therefore attracts a variety of Greedy Girls, perhaps more an older crowd, but we have found some younger local swingers who go there to play openly including the locals and therefore much more vibrant for group fun and swapping activities.

• SECRETS with a 900 sq mt area this is the biggest club in the island. Despite the simplicity of the Budget Deco it looks pleasant enough and seems to work. As you enter there is a large oval bar with plenty space around to socialise and a large stage for shows. Interestingly there is a section for "couples only" clockwise where single guys are NOT allowed and a section unti-clockwise where single guys are allowed in the play areas that although this may put some people off, (both couples and single guys) it’s a clever idea for combining a club to suit most in a safe and relaxed environment.

• FUN 4 ALL an interesting trendy and small club, more of a disco for swingers with some rooms to play than a proper swingers club nevertheless a good meeting point. The Deco is modern / trendy yet compact. At the entrance you are provided with a key for the lockers which is used also for the Bar tab. A nice mix of swingers who uses the place as a meeting point and to socialise before going to other clubs, thought there are some rooms available for playing.

• VENUS the bar is trendy and welcoming with a large area to socialise. The setup is small but interesting with just a few play areas, a Jacuzzi leading to another separate bar. On Saturday is Couples Only.

• LUNA advertised as a swinger club but in fact is a small club for prostitutes, nice set up with a bar a small socialising area and only a couple of large interesting bedrooms too small for a swinger club.

• APHRODITE promoted as a Swinger Club but really is a hookers place now. This was a club initially started by a partner at Come Back Bar but that apparently have fallen out now. The entrance is OK with a basic bar. A huge staircase leading to the play areas in the basement however despite the efforts and the finish of the club somehow it does not work as a swinger club hence the diversification they have now chosen to go for.

If you join 2x2 website, you get a free VIP card, which entitles you to a happy hour drink if you go in the first hour of opening. Most spirit drinks, which are large, are 7 euros, so in happy hour, 2 drinks for 7 euros! Most Saturdays they have a free buffet, but no happy hour.

Hi there!

ETERNITY is a very good club for couples the thing is that is in our opinion is more for soft swinging with very little interaction between couples!

FUN4ALL is a nice spot to meet couples and decide what to do next with them although there are some rooms available to play.

SECRETS is next door to Fun4All and if you do not want single guys you can use the Couples Only section where single guys are not allowed.

VENUS do a Couples Only night on Saturday, it's a nice club it used to be very popular but since it has been extended and renovated it does not seem to attract as much people as it used to!

2x2 do a Couples Only night on Mondays, this club is open every day of the week and is surprisingly the busiest!

We like 2x2 as there is something for everyone. Always plenty of playing going on! They do have themed nights, which doesn't suit everyone. Nudist night on a Thursday attracts many German and Scandinavia couples, not really for me though. They have an area for those who like a bit of light spanking etc, if that's your thing!

OK a question to those who have been in Gran Canaria before:

- Everyone coming to Gran Canaria seems to hang around Playa Del Ingles as indeed is well renown for the choice of Swingers Clubs and the Swinging scene in general... BUT we have discovered a Club in a very discreet area called San Agustin at €5 taxi drive from PDI this is called Tu y Yo and attracts mainly Spanish from Las Palmas very late hours (3am and even 4am) how many of you would be prepared to travel out of Playa Del Ingles for a good Club? -

Your thoughts and feedback would be very welcome

It would depend if there is any play going on. We haven't been to eternity club in nilo centre, but friends have told us it is mainly Spanish couples and more social than any play. Is Tu y yo the same. We used to stay in St Augustine, nice little resort!

City Slickers i feel you have slightly misguided people, Kiosk 4 is NOT for swingers. It is an area on a public beach that is a nudist section. To say it is specifically for swingers could incite possible problems from anyone new to the area.

Over the years Kiosk 4 has become more popular with both nudists, and swingers, but playing would be strictly frowned upon from the vast majority of people due to it being a public space.

I personally have seen numerous times single males openly masturbating in the area in full view of anyone passing, children included.

Your ill informed remarks about it being for swingers are totally inaccurate.

It is simply a place where any member of the public can sunbathe naked. Children included!!!

OK I thought I would share some of the swinger’s information I have learned during my stay in Gran Canaria as I don’t think there is that much useful or up to date info out there for swingers. We have only just moved in Maspalomas so we are by no means experts but as Party Goers & Organisers we have done a lot of naughty things out here we proud ourselves to our attention to details in the scene and definitely have some useful advice for others. It goes without saying that like in any socialised country in Europe, sex in public is illegal and strictly frowned, however we have found both Kiosk 4 and on the way to, a good meeting point of the same swingers that you are luckily to meet them in the clubs at night. It is quite a walk away from the rest of the resort I mean a good 30 minutes’ walk in the desert if you know the way, and therefore totally secluded and hardly the place where you will bump into many children playing games on the beach, even though it is accessible to everyone!

I thought I would talk about the infamous “Dunes” as there is a lot of negative posts about the hordes or horny sexual predators which I think is misleading. Playa Del Ingles Beach is pretty long and has Kiosks dotted along it every few hundred meters, the kiosks rent out sun loungers at 7.50 euros a day but you can also just lay on a towel for free and these kiosks tend to form groups of sunbathers. There are 3 nudist kiosks, the one most frequented by swingers is Kiosk 4 with the gay nudist area next to the straight one. The beach area is supposedly just naturist only but later in the day when the non-swinger nudists go home things get a bit naughtier. The real action is the Dunes behind Kiosk 4; you can walk there easily from the beach and head into the bushy area. You will notice lots of singles guys wandering around either dressed or naked. If you enter here as a couple, you can expect to be noticed and followed from a distance by horny single guys hoping to see some action. This is what most people complain about as it does feel strange being followed by naked horny guys who are happy to start wanking at you.

If you’re a confident couple though then this shouldn’t phase you as no matter how many guys, there are they will respect a polite but firm “no”. The secret here is to casually walk amongst the bushes then cut through some of thicker vegetation out of sight so that you lose most of them. Then find a spot that can’t be approached easily due to the thorny dense vegetation. There are a couple of great spots for this and it means guys can only view you from the other side of bushes and can’t actually get close without being very obvious. Then once you have found your spot, put a towel down and just chill for 10 to 15 minutes enjoying the sun. The horny guys will think you are not playing and just go away, some will try and get your attention by wanking loudly but you just look at them, laugh and say no and they soon get the point. When you feel comfortable you can then have some outdoor fun sex in the sand dunes and it really is a great experience doing it in such beautiful surroundings with clear blue skies above. There will always be a couple of single guys nearby watching, they will most likely try to approach you to join in but just say no and they back off.

I will say with regards to safety in the Sand Dunes the whole beach is patrolled by police regularly and they are there to stop crime not your swinging fun so we felt the whole place was a really safe area. I think the single guys there get a bad rep as they are just horny guys who want in on the fun so telling them clearly what you want works as the other single guys actually make sure no one acts out of line because it'll ruin it for them too if a couple gets annoyed and stops playing and walks off. So in other words if “playing would be strictly frowned upon from the vast majority of people” it is very much practised and/or tolerated in our opinion.

The summer season is off peak for swingers but that still doesn't mean you can’t find plenty of action and our motto is it “Only takes one other couple or a greedy girl to have a great time”. Speaking to the swingers clubs owners we were told peak season for swingers is September to January with lots of action in the Autumn months as Swingers from all over Europe take advantage of the fact it’s warm all year round.

GC-500 is actually the name of a road that from Maspalomas takes you to Puerto Rico... Do you remember where this little bay was situated?"

Its about 4-5 km driving from the gas station,the name of the beach its Montaña Arena,you can see in Google maps or another similar app. More quiet than the Maspalomas dunes and you can do it nudism and play with people

As we are trying to be neutral and only presenting a few places for the benefit of everyone in Fabswingers, we understand that each one of us have our own preferences and that is the way it should be!

Both Come Back Bar and Poison Bar are situated in the Cita Shopping Centre so while in there, one could try both of them and then stay in the busiest I suppose! Poison Bar has also a room for playing where they occasionally host Gang Bangs while Come Back is only a Meet & Greet place.

We also recommend Imagine Bar in Chaparral Shopping Centre which is not far from Eternity.

We have tried a German bar called Bude4 which seems to be run by a German porn star as she has extremely explicit posters of her in BUKKAKE and Watersports gang-bangs all over the bar but she is the nicest person you could meet though her English is limited. Not many people know this but she has a secret playroom in that bar that is an amazing little sex den. She showed it to us and let us have a quick play there too.

The Bude4 bar is right next to 2x2 Club in Sandia Centre and we highly recommend the cocktails and if you are with someone already ask to use the playroom. It's like a shrine to early 90's German porn movies all staring her but she is very nice and sexy and I'm sure she used to be a big ex porn star in Germany.

I would have to disagree, she is not the nicest person you would wish to meet in my opinion. What she charges for two drinks you would get four drinks in 2x2 in happy hour. She prefers Germans to us English.

Don't think it's anything to do with what languages you speak. Most clubs do cater for English and English speaking people, as do 2x2. All the staff speak English and other languages. Chris who owns it speaks several languages fluently, which is helpful when you want to attract all nationalities into your club. We just felt, as did others, that the lady in Bude only communicated with German people and that's no problem, just move on somewhere where you are made to feel welcome. That's why we always advise people to check out these clubs and bars themselves.

Not been to kiosk 4, but have heard mixed views from friends. But no, no one should receive any unwelcome attention, wherever you are. We prefer the nudist beach in PDI, but even there, I have been harassed a few times and it can be very intimidating.

That is true, it's a shame that some guys, normally Spanish, cannot understand a 'no' or even a f*** off. Found myself in that situation when hubby went for a short walk, last holiday (we were at PDI beach) and a single guy wouldn't go away, even when hubby came back, f****** nutcase!

One Club not mentioned lately is FULL SWAP, in Cita. It opened late last year and Dark nipped in on a Saturday night, last November. Very plush and Nightclub styled, like fun4all but with chillout areas, open play areas and 3 large, private playrooms, each with a shower. It was very quiet but took that to be down to just opening. There used to be a girl from London, had a profile, pushing it.

Thing is, have never heard a single mention of it here, or seen any reviews since? In fact, forgot to check it out, on our recent visit.

Visited a few times and it's hit and miss, more for a Greedy Girl, than couple looking for couple action. Could be 2 guys in, could be 15, never saw more than 3 couples in at once. It's very well run, same people as fun4all, clean etc 15 Euro per couple, 10 Euro per single. A drink is included in admission and it's an all day pass, come and go as you please, although they do like you to buy a drink on re-entry. They also have a small sex shop section and it's the only place have openly seen Poppers on sale but over 20 Euro from memory!!

Full nudity, wanking, fucking, all ok....there's even a darkroom in between the screens. Was good on the one wet day we had.....

It shows Hetro and Gay movies, on 2 screens, in 2 separate sections but an open area allows free movement between screens, so be prepared for guy on guy action, in both areas.

Porn is good and if it's your thing, well worth a visit.....it'll only become popular, if people go to it and give it a go. Like some of the clubs...20 couples stick their head in and say "Nah it's quiet" and move on.....if the 20 couples stayed...the place would be rocking, if you get me??

Yes our apologies we did not mention FULL SWAP because, although it promotes itself as a Swinger Club, is in fact a Bordello... however, this belong to the same owner of SECRETS which as you know is just next to Fun4All in the Cita

Our advice would be head to kiosk 4 daytimes, chat to people there, sunbathe there but unless you are uber confident, avoid the dunes alone. Night times, start off in the Bars...comeback/poison/imagine... meet people there that you met at the beach maybe and head to the Clubs in a group, so you wouldn't really be going in alone. You'd be well received in any of the Clubs and Club rules/etiquette should make things safe for you....thats not to say that you won't have every single guy in the place, zone in on you but you shouldn't be hassled by anyone. A firm NO, or the like should work. If not, simply speak to Club staff and they will sort it. Can't see it being an issue but best to say anyhow.

You should have a blast but always apply common sense.....enjoy

When we were there just over a week ago, there was a single female in Comeback bar every night! I think Saz was her name on here and she had a blast, although she did say that she was let down by men who talked the talk but couldn't walk it! All clubs allow single guys, (apart from 2x2 on Mondays, couples only). However, they do limit amount of guys they let in. Best to get there when they open, 10/10.30 pm.

great post city slickers....as a newbie to pdi....some great info on where to start off and meet fellow like minded people.....going in june and looking forward to chilling in the dunes....kiosk 4 area....during the day...and start of in bars such as poison and imagine bar...and take things from there...thank you x

One final tip, login to your Fab Swingers account via your iPhone or iPad and let it use your location as it will show you other Fab people nearby also on the island as well as let other know you are there.

Fab should let you include Gran Canaria as a location as its Europe’s 2nd most popular swingers destination but at least you can alert people you are there in your status bar and also by logging in whilst there and allowing it to show your location to others.

It is said to be Cap d'Agde (I personally have not been there yet) but apparently only popular for two months or so a year... while Gran Canaria in it's relatively smaller size it's all year round giving you more flexibility to book a cheap flight ticket in plenty of time!

There are meeting bars in cita centre and several swinging clubs. They do allow limited numbers of single guys in the clubs, so best to get their early. They open 10-10.30 pm. Some couples only want to meet couples, but there are always those that welcome single guys. Maspalomas beach at kiosk 4 is another meeting place during the day and some play does occur in the dunes behind kiosk 4.

Then I would suggest you go for a drink in the meeting bars in cita centre, comeback bar upstairs, poison bar downstairs and imagine bar, which is moving to cita centre soon, from chapperal centre. You will meet likeminded, fun people in these places. Good luck!

True. I don't know what so special about Cita Centre anymore as I find it rather dated... I used to enjoy going to Chaparral and use Image Bar as an alternative meeting point near the Eternity Club...

Yes, have to agree, don't really like the area, personally. I thought the imagine bar was in a good place in chapperal, especially for day time meets. Hope they continue to do well. I'm sure they will, as they have a good following!
