Damn it....why did we not know about this when we booked?! Oh well!
Can anyone offer advice on Transfers to and from the airport as we arrive quite late on 27th August evening and not looking forward to a 2hr bus ride? |

Hi.
Yes, remember the code for next time 
If you are talking transfer to/from La Mirage and Airport, a transfer can be booked through La Mirage.
We can help you (normally helping with questions regarding La Mirage, and being in daily contact with them) fixing it if you want to. If you send the Lastname and arrival date and then time / flight info in a PM, we can fix it. Otherwise contact La Mirage directly to order it It is 35€ each way.

try hoppa it's only 18 euros return for 2 airport to hotel |

Never heard about that before.... Nice to know
But do we read it wrongly or... If we check it looks more expensive than the 35€ transfer each way through La Mirage, if you (like in the original question) don't want to sit in a bus ? |

Hoppa is fine if you are prepared to sit on the bus whilst it stops possibly 10 times to let others off at their accommodation before it reaches yours.
€35 is not a lot of money for direct transportation in air conditioned comfort, plus if your arrival at La Mirage is after reception closes the driver has the keys to your bungalow to give to you. |

Try Sun Transfers, reliable, great drivers and they'll have you there within 30 mins of walking into the arrivals hall. Worth the money for that alone....I've still been sitting on a bus, outside the airport, an hour after arriving when using normal bus transfer.
Book standard private taxi transfer, don't pay extra for luxury upgrade...quite often it's the luxury(Merc etc) will collect you anyhow. Price is for 4 people, see if anyone else is arriving on same flight, to make it cheaper, if you want.....but for the time saved and lack of hassle, I think it's worth it, regardless |
