We are looking to book well in advance so that we can get into one of these complexes. Trouble is we can't decide which one. Would love to hear everyone's opinions on which they prefer and why.

Grateful for any input. Thanks

I thought you couldn't book more than 10 months in advance?

Typing this from Venus Venus is great been here twice now and massive improvements each time, we are also at La Mirage is May and October and have been there many times as well.

We think they are both good in different ways, Love La mirage when we are there with group of friends, when on our own Venus is a great friendly little resort, bottom line you can have a great time at both xxx

Thanks, Maybe we'll put them both in a hat and decide like that!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

It's true they now have a 10 month booking policy, it's a more open system, they changed it as they were getting complaints that new people could never get in.

The website opens up the dates as they allow booking. Best get in quick when they open dates as they go very fast, both Venus and la mirage are more or less solidly book up. Even this week both fully booked xx

So you'll be able to have the best of both worlds

Venus is much smaller(12 bungalows) but still has excellent facilities and is spotlessly clean. Good feel about it daytime but found it quiet at nights.

We can't plan far enough in advance to get booking into La Mirage but know from our friends that go each year, that it's much larger and more established place.

We can't normally plan in advance, but we are going New Year as we know we have time then. Went to G.C this New Year gone and enjoyed it so much want to go again. Not too bothered about evenings as we go to imagine bar and clubs then.

Lytham St Annes

We're staying at Venus at the moment on our second visit and it's perfect for us - spotlessly clean, large play areas and a lovely new jacuzzi area. It is quiet though, very little happens in the evenings unless a group are in who want to party together and british couples are in the minority.

We love playing round the pool in the day then heading out for a meal then Imagine in the evening x
