Disappointing is one word I would use to sum up this break.

We went thinking it was a lively swingers resort, but the truth we found was much different.

The clubs 2x2 & secrets are tired and a little dirty. There is mobs of predatory type males chase after you if you head near the play rooms as a couple.

The clientel is much older than we where expecting and while that is not a critism, it made for very little choice for us personally.

The single guys we would not have touched or spoke to in any walk of life, many seem to they type that that would xxxx you quicker than talk to you.

The dunes are amazing (from a natural wonder point of view). But as a swinging venue, all we found was primitive males set up in camps in bushes while wanking all day long.

We had a brief play ourselves and within a minute had weird dude at our feet wanking.

We asked him to move which he didn’t. It also a vast vast walk to possibly get a chance of a little swinging.

All in all we found gran Canaria to be seedy, desperate and not how the modern lifestyle is back home in the uk... we are an average looking couple who don’t struggle to have our fair share of fun and chat to some very interesting people. The majority of single males at home are respectful, keep a distance and respect the word no.

I feel GC is not for the modern lifestyler, and we are home little disappointed however at some great sex between the two of us.

I hope this helps people thinking of going and expect it to be modern and vibrant like the scean at home

That's such a shame that you didn't enjoy it and it obviously isn't for everyone. It could be your age, as I agree it does seem to be older people who go. But you will see that many people return year after year and several times a year, but yes they are older. We tend to go late March and October when it's much busier, so more chance of different age groups then.

We're there now. We have great fun playing in the dunes behind kiosk 5 & 8 but would never again go into the grubby dunes behind kiosk 4.

The hideous, badly behaved, desperate parasites that trawl those dunes are the lowest of the low. They stalk, hide, pester and many refuse to XXXX off unless threatened with physical violence.

There's nowhere for the scumbags to hide across the other side, plus there's many families passing through. This makes it a much nicer experience

We agree with exactly what you say about the old fashioned very dated look and feel of PDI in general. Most of it looks rather depressing. Anywhere else most of the hotels would have been knocked down and rebuilt years ago.

As for the Yumbo and even worse, the CITA (shitta) we struggle to understand why anyone would set foot in there at all, let alone look forward to it??

From what you say (and people we've met) some of the same dick heads from the dunes frequent these dingy looking clubs with the same sense of 'entitlement' they show in the daytime. Maybe they expect a XXXX after paying the entrance fee?

This will most likely be our last visit here. We've shared some fun times in the unique dunes, but the feel of the rest of the place is very downmarket (and that's being kind).

It would help if the weather was more consistent, at least then you can get a nice tan if nothing else I think, if it weren't for us meeting up with friends there and having lots of fun, we wouldn't choose to go there for a vanilla holiday

Ditto! Call a spade a spade.

It is grubby, tired and old fashioned. Without the fabulous dunes it would be nothing, and single male parasites have ruined the K4 side of those!

Our experience last year was almost exactly the same, we are going back this year because we got a great deal and fancied a holiday but our expectations will be much lower this time to be honest and swinging will be coming second to the break away unlike last year when we went with swinging in mind.

I've booked to go back to pdi in April and October as I love the place, it has something for everyone.

As a single guy I love the friendliness of the place as I've met some lovely couples there off fab and also quite a few European couples.

Not all the hotels are run down and dirty and as for the club's and bars, imagine bar is predominately used by couples and singles off fab where as comeback bar is used by more European couples both I found to be very sociable.

I've used kiosk 4 the last 3 yrs so will try kiosk 8 as I've heard good reviews about that part of the beach.

I can't wait to get back there and meet some old and new friends

We visit PDI, 2 or 3 times a year and never leave disappointed.....but we arrive with no expectations, other than a holiday...with the opportunity for Swinging.

We have made friends here, had great sexual adventures here, got a good sun tan here...but nothing is guaranteed. Are there shithole hotels...yes Are the Bars and Clubs empty sometimes...yes Is it 24/7 sex...no Come with reasonable expectations and you might have a great time....come with delusions of grandeur and self importance and you will only ever leave disappointed....and blaming everyone else for your shit holiday.

We are here now, it's quiet but we have had as much fun as when PDI is at its busiest. If you don't like it....don't come back!! simple...but let people be their own judges.

We are booked again, for April and will return in October and will meet old and hopefully make many new friends here.

PDI is what it is....live and let live ?? D&J x

We have been going to gran canaria staying at la mirage for the last five years and agree with everything said above

We have been in march June quite time September and October

We always have a great time it's laff a minute with the added bonus of of a little fun with other couples and singles

I think some of the above need to take a long hard Look at what they are looking for in the swinging world

For us it's a great social side making lots of new friends along the way and of course some great sexy times

Gran canaria is fun fun fun

Well said Tony! This is our 4th year, every April and October and every conceivable option of break - 7,10 or 14 nights. We stay in really good, central apartments so can't comment on other locations.

But it is the expectation levels that some people have; kiosk 4 is NOT cap d'agde (too much time spent watching porn!)! with constant orgies, it is an excellent naturist beach.

We have made friends who we are still in contact with from 30's to 60's both here at home in the UK and from Europe who we meet out there.

As with anything in life, for us it's people that make things happen and not the venue. We have had quiet holidays there and have had crazy holidays there (last October - whew!) but have never come home complaining!

Costa Blanca Spain...

I (Mr H) spent a lot of time there in the early/mid 90's but they were vanilla holidays. I had some great times and it was the first place I ever got naked on a beach.

After a long break away from the place I returned around 5 years ago but this time as a swinging couple with Mrs H.

We stayed at La Mirage, which we couldn't fault, and we would say it is by far the best accommodation in the resort for swingers, for us it was superb. However that is where superb stopped.

In the 10 days we were there we only ventured into the dunes on one occasion and have to agree with most of what has been said above. We are far from shy, we've fucked in full public view with a crowd of guys around us at Cap d'Agde on many occasions, but never at any point have we felt threatened. Maybe it's something to do with having the security of lots of other couples around.

In the dunes at GC it is the opposite. While there were a few other couples in there at the time they were spread very thinly and the guys, to put it kindly, were far too bold and outnumbered the couples by a big margin. We did nothing sexually and didn't go in there again.

We went to three clubs during our stay, Venus which we were not keen on although Mrs H did have a nice session in there with a young Spanish guy. but we only went the one time. 2X2 which we thought was about the best and had quite a few decent nights in there. The other club I can't even remember the name of but it was on the right as you went downstairs in Cita, we only went in once and stayed less than half an hour.

We thought that all of the commercial centres looked a bit run down. Yumbo and Cita really need freshening up or demolishing, we also went to the Kasbah centre, which was THE place to go in the 90's, but it is now well past its sell by date.

Overall I think that if it hadn't been for La Mirage and the fun we had there (especially Mrs H's birthday party) and some decent nights in 2X2 it would have been a pretty poor trip.

Would we go back? Maybe one day but in 5 years since then we haven't bothered yet.

Agree. Single male parasites have ruined the K4 side of the dunes. We would never go back in there. Unfortunately the most desperate few now make the trek over to the other side.

You can see them from a mile away as they trawl from couple to couple, each of them following the same path like joining the dots.

The dunes were almost deserted yesterday, yet the same losers made a b-line for us, attempting to set up just feet away! (they leave as quickly as they arrive as I don't mess about) neither did the next nearest couple who also told the worst offender where to go.

PDI being a run down old fashioned dump is not really in question. I just wonder why the dark dingy passageways of the concrete monstrosity called the 'cita' seem to be a mecca for some?

Everyone has different standards I suppose?

Fun in the sun behind K8 is still a great way to spend the day. It would be better if more couples were there, and less single parasites...

As we said in our review which was open and honest in OUR eyes. This was our opinion.

We stayed in one of the nicest hotels on the island the Bohemia Suites and spa, which was top class. Staff where very attentive. We had some great meals, in various restaurants.

I guess where our main complaint was, I imagine this resort has not seen any investment from its hay day..... it’s tired, run down and in places dirty.

What do we ant out of swinging? Mutual fun in a safe environment with people you are genuinely attracted to.

What we don’t want is to be stalked into play rooms, and two cocks poke my (mr) head while my wife plays with me. I don’t want the smell of dirty feet in a club. I don’t want again stalked around the dunes. I want to lie a sunbathe naked play with my wife and if other like minded couples are in the area they can approach as they would in a normal club.

I’m sure many people have found their grove in GC, found a great hotel that suits them at a time of year where they have friends out there and they love it, and fair play to them.

We just did not......maybe try the place in Mexico next time.

Some really valid points from both sides. As I said earlier, we wouldn't choose to go to PDI, for a vanilla holiday. It is the people that make it for us. We too have met some great people, of all nationalities on the island and some of our best nights have been in 2x2 club and often, just socializing, with likeminded couples!

April 17 was wild so much so back again next week and again in April. Love the place. Didn’t play in Dunes but might now we have found out about K8. 2X2 was our favoured retreat but did leave one night as just didn’t feel right. Single guys wanking in the bar area.

Ye it could do with a bit of investment but like many others all inclusive killing the pubs and restaurants.

Sun sea sand and sex What more do you want

I personally think a bar area should be just that, plenty of room in the play area for that

We head out in 11 days , our second trip there

For us it’s a holiday , some winter sun with the prospect of swinging if we click with the right people

On our last trip we made some amazing friends in the bars and clubs that we have kept in contact with

You can have the best club in the world , but full of idiots , you can have a tired club needing renovating that is rocking with the right people and right mindset

It’s all about the people and we hope to find some like minded people , even if we don’t play with them when we go in a few weeks , hopefully not as many idiots !

We didnt venture to the dunes on our last visit , as it was too windy , like being sand blasted , so cannot comment on those , the clubs were fun with the right people , thought fun4all was great but too many smokers !! Although we had some of our best times in there , despite only playing in there once !!

GC is an adventure , a cheap week away , some drinks , some food , some sun (hopefully) some people watching and a week away from work

GC is an adventure , a cheap week away , some drinks , some food , some sun (hopefully) some people watching and a week away from work "

Just like a uk swinging club , we have turned up to the same venue , different days , but always a Saturday night , to have some totally brilliant nights and some totally crap nights !!!

It all depends on the people there , your own outlook and mood and theirs !!

Mrs just read this thread and (I'd forgotten) what she previously had to say about the dunes behind kiosk 4 (which made me laugh)...

"The place is littered with Baby wipes, condoms, cigarette butts and stinks of urine. Plus everywhere you look there's sad parasites hiding in the bushes either trying to film you, bother you or wank on you".

Also, (to add) we couldn't enjoy our (previously favourite) spot last year because the single male parasite who was leaving as we arrived had left a big shit in there.

Worth noting: Most of the men there in 2016 were half decent. Most were naked and had manners. Last year there was a dramatic, seemingly ongoing, change in attitude and dress.

Almost all of the parasites there since 2016 are now fully clothed, backpack wearing, desperate losers with a real attitude problem.

Lovely area - NOT.

The other side (k5/8) is 99% better. Today there were many couples with only the odd sad fully clothed idiot trawling from couple to couple.

(did anyone else see the dopey clown with his green shoulder bag?) What a knob head ...

We had our first visit to PDI last November, yes in places it’s a bit run down and certainly not as classy as Fuerteventura. The Maspalomas part was much more upmarket, especially the restaurants. We enjoyed Imagine Bar & the clubs in Cita. Kiosk 4 was ok for sunbathing even if the sunbeds were all taken at silly o’clock in the morning. We had one venture behind the dunes and never again, it stank of pee and the meerkats were up and ready. We’ll go back as we enjoyed it.

The Kiosks and sunbeds are for those of us who like to relax and top up our tans. The immediate bushes behind Kiosk 4 has for a long time been a toilet full of pond life waiting for couples to walk past so they can follow I agree with you.

There are still plenty of places for private fun in the dunes, but unfortunately if you are unaware of your surroundings and start to wander around the bushes and the Palm trees you will be followed, I don't agree with it but some couples are looking for the attention of lots of single guys.

Think on how poor Janice felt after Colin tricked her into going for walk.

STOKE ON TRENT

I was thinking of going there mid June just for a week as I'd been told how great it was. After reading all of the comments I'm a bit apprehensive.

As I single fem I'd probably stick to the more 'decent' spots like kiosks 5-8. Or I might just make the most of the hotel and bake by the pool all day and just venture out at night to one of the clubs.

We are here now and there have been a lot of interesting and on the whole fairly accurate descriptions of PDI.

We think the biggest problem is numbers. Considering there are only a couple of Swinger bars and a couple of Clubs and we have now been to most of them, there are simply very few Swingers visiting here these days.We reckon there cant be more than 20 English speaking 'swingers'in currently present in the whole town and a lot of those 20 are here to drink alcohol and socialise not to actually play.

The Swinging 'Clubs'arent really Swinging Clubs but more like night Clubs with music so loud they burst the eardrums and socialising in them is very hard as you cant hear each other talk. The same desperate single guys as you get in English clubs are ever present but are far more agressive and were constantly coming into the couples only playroom with no staff policing this at all.

In summary you will get far more action at home but if you want some winter sun (sadly absent on this trip) but with an outside chance of holiday fun then give this place a try but dont build up your expectations too much ahead of arriving.

Can we just stress, we treat PDI as a holiday, with Swinging optional....there is something for everyone. We do not venture into the dunes...kiosk 4 is naturist, not swinging and the ratio of gay/bi men,is intolerable. The bars/clubs, are purely down to personal preference...if you don't like it, stay away, it's not a Swingers resort, it's a resort where Swingers go.

We love it, we know how it works....people, not places, make the fun!

"We visit PDI, 2 or 3 times a year and never leave disappointed.....but we arrive with no expectations, other than a holiday...with the opportunity for Swinging.

Well said, we are going in 4 weeks time and again in November, we have been twice a year for the last couple of years at least and always have a great time.

Holidays are what you make them.

Like the poster above we go without expectations other than getting a cracking tan.

We use fab to find playmates and socialisers around the bars.

Yeah some of pdi is run down, but its cheap, horses for courses....

Unfortunately you might find that there is not a lot of swinging going on! It becomes a family holiday destination then and some of the clubs actually close in July.

March/April and September/October are the key times.

Really negative review. Sorry you guys did not enjoy. We go 4 times a year and find it a great place! Of course there are plus and minus sides. Any swinger resort or club has them. Just as one man is a sex god to one woman, the same man maybe repulsive to the next?? Firstly the clubs. Some are seedy but some are classy. Some have couples only nights so if you don't want to be pestered go on these days.Time of year you go matters! Best Easter, October,November and Christmas/New year.

This couple went the worst time. The dunes are not as busy as before but if you are with a group of couples you don't get hassle. it is a multi nation resort so socialise with all nationalities and this will improve your enjoyment. First timers don't let this review sway you. Judge for yourself.Any info just pm us. Happy hols

We just got back from pdi, our first visit. We was a little concerned when we read this review, we needn't have been, we have had the greatest time. So much so we have booked for December.

Secrets is a little dated and not our favourite club. 2x2 on couples only night was probably the best night we had. Fun4all is a really modern club and extremely clean and busy on the three nights we went there.

We met some great people there, all late forties, good looking and toned bodies, we think you may have been there on a quiet week or maybe expected more than you got.

As I say we have booked again for December we enjoyed it that much.

Melonares is a nicer part of that area, so I'm sure you'll like it. If you want to go to PDI in the evening for the club's, you will need a cab, but they are cheap and plentiful

Oh dear – you seem to have had a very disappointing holiday, which is a shame because Gran Canaria is an absolutely fantastic island.

Judging from your post you both spent your time in the very worst, seediest and most hideous parts of the island; so it is not surprising that you had a crap time!

If you choose wisely you will find that there nowhere can compare with the cool clubs, sexy beaches, stylish resorts and very sexy swingers that you can enjoy when you are there – but you need to do your homework first.

Check out some of the guides that other Fab users have put up in the Forum and you will see what you have missed.

It’s a bit like this website…lots of rubbish but also some wonderful people to discover if you make the effort to look.

All of our most horny pics were taken in Gran Canaria – and every time we go there we have an amazing time!

Interesting read. Some we can sympathise with you.

In terms of location. PDI could be classed as a bit tacky/run down in the same way that Blackpool gets hit with.

Nevertheless, if you’re prepared for this, then that’s one expectation met.

Compare it to music. Some people go to certain vanilla clubs and have a bit of cheese. Weddings, birthday parties. We know what it’s all about but we have an expectation and we can enjoy and embrace it.

PDI offers great VFM if looking for a cheap holiday with winter sun that’s close proximity to the UK. So when kids are at school, prices are low.

Typically the older generation with grown up kids can take advantage of this. This may be one the age range wasn’t within your preferred group.

We personally find that April/May and Sep/Oct/Nov are months where you’re likely to get a few more of the younger generation of swingers. We say this through our personal experiences and also from a large friends list where we follow their feeds. Last September, 200+ primarily the Chams crew headed to PDI and I remember earlier in the year (Aprilish, there was around 6 couples, 40 and under, who were there at the same time).

So maybe timing wasn’t on your side. That said, it’s the same as anywhere. You can have great times and not so great times at any given UK club on any given day, even your favourite clubs.

I would agree that the dunes are probably not the best place to visit and play if you do not want the attention of single men. And would also agree that 2x2 (with the exception of couples only Mondays) isn’t the best venue if you don’t want single men.

There is a different swinging culture compared to the UK, and this can be said for quite a few European countries. Our experience is the Spanish come out later and can typically get straight into action (including couples). If you attend Eternity on a Saturday, that is evident.

As for Secret, I would disagree. We found it a clean club and given it’s 900m2, they do a good job maintaining it. They have cleaners there and I’ve seen the staff get involved too. Maybe you had just a bad night there? Surely not two in a row?

But as you said, it was your opinion and experience and I think it’s valid as it raises an interesting discussion.

As people on here have said and we would echo, I would say to people not to be put off from visiting, but have an expectation. To collate these:

1) treat it as a holiday first. A cheap place, close to the UK where there is winter sun.

2) don’t expect PDI to be glamorous. Expect a British seaside resort experience. If you want more pleasant surroundings in Gran Can, but swinging clubs nearby, try Maspalomas or Meloneras and get a cheap taxi into PDI.

3) expect an older generation of swinger, especially Dec, Jan, Feb due to the above comments, but there will be younger swingers too.

4) respect that this is an island frequented by German, Dutch, Scandinavia, Mainland Spainiards for the weekend, and locals. So embrace the joys of international swinging.

5) speak to regular visitors to determine the best clubs, nights to get the experience closest for you.

I think these five points will set an expectation and maybe you can consider and enjoy Gran Can.

We’re always happy to share our advice and experience, if anyone wants to mail us.

We’re always happy to share our advice and experience, if anyone wants to mail us."

brilliant post ...agree completely....

"We just got back from pdi, our first visit.

As I say we have booked again for December we enjoyed it that much."

Gran Canaria and the rest of the Canaries are fantastic holiday islands where we all go cos there is sun sun sun and sometimes rain and wind like when we were there a few weeks ago but we still had a fab time. We are back in September for 3 weeks and we go to pdi because it has lovely nudist beaches to sunbathe on. It's a fab holiday resort which is lucky enough to have some adult clubs to swing in. We found out about them on here before we first went and we tried 2x2 which is a great club for couples or singles, the comeback bar is great for meeting European couples. They also own fun for all which is next door to 2x2 and a great club for dancing to good music and then finishing the evening in 2x2. Kiosk 4 is a lovely place to get the sun and meet nice people. You don't play on the beach as it's just a nudist beach and a really friendly atmosphere. We say just enjoy your sun holiday and explore the night life. You never know what you find lol. Xx

Agree with lots, disagree with many. We’ve been coming to PDI for a couple of years now - I (Deedee) can’t travel long haul now unfortunately (4 hours or less) and so Gran Canaria is ideal for us in the winter months (thank god for a last minute 9 days right now as hopefully have missed all the cold and snow - fabulous day sat in 25+degrees heat by the pool today!). GC gives us the hot weather (and it is hot all year round!) from October to March when we normally visit (although just booked for Gay Pride in May). Like some have said - and like most of the clubs in the UK - it’s hit and miss to your night of fun! We go with no expectations and don’t message to meet as we prefer to just ‘turn up and see what happens’. We have met some amazing European friends, but, we go for the vibe of the area - not many children and no trouble in the gay area. Melanoras is more upmarket but no adult only hotels and further away from the clubs. House prices are higher than the rest of Spain so obviously says something about the place!? We love Italy and the Netherlands too - but, we also like warm weather this time of year! We will be visiting many more times during the ‘winter’ months!

Thanks and sound very similar to what we like and look for. With that in mind what places would you recommend we try.

First timers in GC arriving tomorrow and hope you guys had a great time we know we will, no matter what else happens

Start off at Imagine Bar - you will enjoy and then try Secrets - and Fun4All if not. There’s also ComeBack Bar and 2x2 club, along with Moonlight Dream club. Check them out on their websites as all have different nights. We tend to go out on weekends now as it can be a little empty during the week - but just takes one other couple or person to make a night . The dunes are amazing - but the nudist beaches and the rest isn’t for us but have heard people go to socialise and don’t always get ‘attacked’ by single guys. We’ve had a fabulous 9 days here, sun, sand, sea and sex! Enjoy! We know you will! X

If you’re not looking for single guys, and want to try different clubs, definitely do 2x2 in Sandia on Monday. It’s couples only night.

Register on the website for free membership and 10-11pm is happy hour. 241 cocktails.

The strawberry mojito is to die for if the one girl does it (she used to be a pink lookalike).

Enjoy your holiday x

It’s the back part of one part of the dunes to be aware of.

But don’t let it stop you walking along the main open area of the dunes. They are amazing and something to enjoy if just once in your life. Such amazing landscape and views.

We got back yesterday and I couldn't agree more ...

Luckily we had arranged to meet some great couples we had been talying to on fab and meeting with them really made the holiday. As for the club's in our view they aren't a patch on some of the UK clubs we have been to but that's probably because of the language barrier and going in late feb/March is mostly older groups of people than we would normally mix with. Nothing wrong with that just not really our thing.

I would go back to gran canaria for a holiday no problem at all but of you're younger than 50 or looking for people younger then you might be best arranging who you will meet before booking?

We agree. We have been keeping out the discussion because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone is looking and expecting something different.

We have been to GC on 5 occasions over the last 2 years. And yes we haven’t been to the dunes (because we are strictly pool bunnies and hate the beach) however regarding the clubs, we can’t fault them especially at the weekends. GC is a cheap and cheerful swinging holiday.

Just like some of the clubs in the UK some are good and some not so. GC is a great place for swingers but the initial reviewer mentioned 2x2 which is full on and too much for us (and we have been to GC 10 times in 2 1/2 years). Secrets is a full buffet for greedy girls and has always been clean when we have been there? La mirage is great and clubs like fun for all are chilled better for couples. its all there if you want it. The Dunes are people shagging in the oipen air! it will attract unwelcome attention but if that is your thing go for it! No my cup of tea but if we were all the same it would be a bit sad and boring

We have already posted on this thread but to put a little detail as to what our negative experiences were they are as follows

In Secrets which is very dark and very loud we used the biggest lockable private room to play with another couple and it had a big plastic covered bed and errr -that’s it .No wipes ,tissue ,cleaning gel etc so for all we know we were rolling around in previous occupants spunk . Also in Secrets the staff didn’t stop single males entering the couples only play area .We had to tell them to fuck off out of there. One positive thing is the Club is so big the smoking area is well away from the general area .

Fun4All - we were choking, coughing and spluttering within 5 mins of entering as the ‘smoking area ‘ is not really separate at all to the main area . Very little playing going on here (apart from d*unk cuck husbands watching wives with single men ) Everyone else was here to drink and dance not actually play which isn’t a bad thing but it’s not Swinging.

4x4 - same as Fun4All (cuck husbands and wives only ones playing) and the rest d*unk and smoking .

Comeback - Great staff but very small and very smoke filled. Learn to speak German and Dutch before going here if you want to strike up any meaningful conversation .

Imagine - Great staff and excellent for socials and networking . Be prepared to approach couples sat on their own at tables though because most people seemed shy about approaching others and people who came in groups often just stuck together .

Beaches - can’t really say as we can’t think of anything worse than playing with strangers totally naked in a dirty sand dune that’s used as a toilet .

Weather was crap too but that was very unusual ! Our best experience was with the gay community in Jumbo Centre and loved the Drag acts and comedy in Sparkles Show Bar .

Some people like tea, some prefer coffee. Some like soul, some like rock. Kids prefer chips over daddy.

It’s not going to be for everyone. If you want a dedicated swingers resort/hotel, then plan your holiday for this and then you hopefully will not be disappointed.

It’d be sad if people don’t go based on negative comments, if they don’t actually marry up to what they want from a holiday, but we do make decisions on feedback. Unfortunately not all of it is substantial.

2x2 is a club we like. Not our favourite but we like it. But we will only ever go on Monday night when it’s couples. Was there anyone in there that took our fancy? No. But we enjoyed and went for a drink and the expectation that we might not meet anyone. We knew that other nights would not be our cup of tea and we purposely didn’t go for that reason.

We left 2x2 and there was a hot Norwegian couple outside pondering about going in. Instead they walked with us to Secrets and had a fantastic time. They went to 2x2 the next day, realised it wasn’t for them and stayed in the cita having a blast thereafter.

We have no interest in being surrounded by sand wankers, but still we love the landscape of the dunes. We choose to stay in our clothes and enjoy the surroundings.

We’re not approached and people can clearly see our intentions.

Our advice would be, if you want to fuck, then you can find it, be it males, females and couples. We know because we have met many couples and females around our age. We’ve met locals in their 20s. And we’ve met many Europeans with the same mindset (granted a bit more forward than the more reserved partying Brits) so if you’re interested in taking your swinging international; if you appreciate scenery then enjoy the Dunes; if you like going on holiday and partying like other tourist areas near the sea, then give GC and PDI a go.

However, if you are not up for mixing with non-Brits/Irish, concerned that the sand meerkats are going to put you off a beautiful landscape, think that everyone is going to be the older generation of swinger (which isn’t in your remit), and thinking PDI is only a place for swinging and nothing else. Then maybe reconsider your options.

But what confuses me is whether there is actually a swinging resort. I don’t even think Cap D’agne is classed as a swinging resort as such, but an area that is liberal and naturist, where swingers attend. Correct me if I’m wrong, as I haven’t researched.

I know there are swinging/adult hotels. But if this swinging utopia exists, then I’m in!

That’s true but what has changed in recent times is through looking at different opinions on social media (positive and negative) ) it’s possible to decide to not go to a particular Holiday resort in the first place just like not booking to go to certain Restaurants ,Hotels etc

We have been to PDI for the past two years in January - we never went to clubs as we haven the confidence - as its very club orientated we had no meets - but...

We had plenty of sun in January when the rest of Europe is under cloud at best

Will we go back - yes in January for the sun and anything else is a bonus !

We have had great meets in Benidorm - until recently there have been no clubs, but plenty of similar minded adults, out to party and have fun !

Benidorm was never our cup of tea until we actually went and we have been back twice a year

We have noted that there are always stacks on "Who is near me" wheen we are there so its popular with Fabbers - though many wont admit it n here LOL

Have fun folks wherever you end up heading on the plane to

Almost finished a fantastic week in PDI and we have had a great time.

Have tried many things whilst here and have found out quite a few things about us and the resort. These are our honest opinion and observations only.

For us we liked walking along the beach and it was great to see so many liberated people but for us a walk on the beach was fine we never went to try the famous or infamous dunes.

We enjoyed the vibe in Imagine, very welcoming and relaxing and it’s always nice to do some people watching and hopefully have some watch us back in return. A good warm up to visiting a club.

We visited Secrets twice. The second time was only because it was the only club open due to the massive carnival in town that most places closed for

We visit Xtasia, La Chambre and Adventures as we like a dance and a flirt and Sam likes to dress for the occasion and rarely likes to get fully naked in a club and leave a little to the imagination.

Secrets is not a patch on any of the UK club, we went as it advertises a couples only section which we liked. However, and this is a big however, the number of predatory single guys ‘allowed’ to wander in and get their dick out and wave it around is just not on. Last night a German couple found they were being filmed on a mobile by one of them and despite being ejected from the room by the German fella and reported to management he was back in the couples area 5 minutes later, albeit with no phone!

We had a good time but you need to choose wisely we’re and when to play and always (as a guy) keep an eye out to protect your partner from unwanted, unsolicited attention and an extra pair of eyes in the back of your head would help.

There are plenty of places for single guys to go to and if that is your thing then more power to you and I’m sure you will find what your after. But for us the club is poorly managed and controlled which gives a feeling of ‘what you permit, you promote’

Would we go back. Simple answer is no to the clubs in PDi but definitely will be back to PDI for our own fun in the sun

Please don’t let any of this put you off, it may have been a bad couple of nights for this kind of behaviour but be careful people and have fun.

We are organising a social on 24th April from 3pm at the bar in Meloneras - Beach Club el Senador

It has a nudist deck and clothed bar right by the beach

With all the like minded people in Maspalomas in April we thought it would be fun for some social drinks in the sun

GC is no different to any club in the uk, it’s about choice, only been going a couple of years and never had a bad time, and one thing we do know is there’s little chance of us getting frostbite, and getting our bums in the sun is just as important as the fucking part, I agree there are parts of pdi that need a lift, however Maspalomas is but a short distance away and has many fine bars and restaurants, as I say when it comes to the clientele in clubs, it’s the same the word over, pot luck.....
