Unless you have (or hire) a car there is really only one place.
Cala Almadraba is just around the headland at the far end of Levante beach.
Follow the road that runs behind the hotel Benikaktus as you go around the headland you look down on to a small cove. That's it.
Everything else is a drive. |

It is the only naturist beach in the Benidorm area, however it isn't a particularly good one. More stones than sand.
There are usually a few people down there but we've never seen it packed. It is a while since we were last there though. |

Yes that's the one.
If you want to drive there are quite a few beaches further up the coast in the direction of Javea/Denia but it's not an area we know that well.
Heading the other way there is Raco Conil between La Cala and Villajoyosa. Two stony coves and you will need to keep some form of footwear on if you want to head into the sea. The hiding places in the rocks and trees around it are a bit of a gay cruising area.
If you want to drive around 45 minutes Playa los Tusales between Guardamar and La Marina (Just past Alicante) is one of the best on the Costa Blanca. Over 1km of sand with dunes and woods behind.
Can get busy at the La Marina end in the high season and there is sometimes a bit of fun to be had in the dunes although it is mostly gay |
