Hi
This will be our 1st time to Gran Canaria and we're looking at staying at La Mirage so we are just wondering if the end of June beginning July is a good time to try and does anybody else tend to go this time of year?
We like the hotter Weather

The summer is pretty quiet.
I have been 3 times in the summer and it can be hit & miss at any club.
Some close early because there are not enough people there.
A lot of shops close down for the summer and the owners take their holidays.
Our winter is their high season. I hear it is fabulous in winter.
I go again in late July. |

We are going mid July for a second time. Absolutely loved it before. We are staying at Magnolias Natura. It's not a swingers but naturists resort, perfect for relaxing holiday. Hoping to visit some clubs and Bbq at Venus. |

June/July. Think it begins to be more quieter swinging wise. Obviously not in LM or Venus. Know for definite that August is very quiet. More families. Have found peek times September to November. Xmas New year. March to middle of May. Lots of people now going to other places, especially in Summer. GC tends to be getting a little bit tired. Having said that we go 3/4 times this year so maybe we are contradicting ourselves. Just think after 15 years plus of GC it's time to spread our wings. Happy holidayxx |

Thinking about staying at Gold in the first week of June as our first visit to PDI It seems to get good reviews on here and TripAdvisor. We're still looking but we take it that it's close to the beach, bars, restaurants, etc? |

We fly out on the 9th of June and will be staying at Gold (first time too) It looks to be in a good location, close enough to most things. G x |

"I just don’t know what’s going to happen ,they cannot keep the whole place on lockdown for months ? , there will be no bars , restaurants etc to go too as they will all be out if business, "
My thoughts exactly, I can’t imagine that many of the businesses or workers have the resilience to last months with no income.
A 2 week hiatus will surely only offset the problem.
I really feel for them, we have been twice this year already and managed to avoid the storms here and there and came back last week sparing us the nightmare they have now.
As an employer here I am more worried than I have ever been as it’s unprecedented and I can’t see how the limited lockdown approach will work.
But I did manage to get some toilet roll today(only a 4 pack but that’s ok) stupid me I didn’t stock up and it’s nearly bitten on the arse.

It probably won't work but it keeps the plebs happy that something is being done while they (try) to make some sort of plan
You can adopt the french method.. . Squat down hard and it won't touch the sides so you don't need toilet paper lol |

"Got a feeling our June trip will get cancelled. However safety first and all that. Anyone visited late November before? X"
I’ve been November and it was still very hot and fairly busy , if this is all over and we can all fly , I think November will be even more busier and expensive, until Jet2.com email me and cancel my holiday in June , it’s still going ahead , it’s what I’m looking forward to |

We went for 2 weeks a couple of years ago in July and had a great time, the area had a great vibe. Our aim is to have a holiday and then dip in and out, excuse pun, of the scene. It was quiet but we still had a good time when hitting the bars and clubs, be prepared though the temperatures outside are as equally as hot. It's all about the company to us rsther than numbers Last year comeback bar was closed whilst being refurbished and fun4all always closes in July, we didn't notice any places shut up around the island or in the tourist parts of the resort. It had a totally different vibe to the swingers season. The bonus was the club we like was busier |

You are obviously keen for a treat and irresponsible...travel restrictions may be lifted but to want to go fucking strangers straight away is crazy...see how many people on the return plane flight you can pass on a second wave of the virus to and back into the U.K., !

Is anybody still going in July? We are booked to go for a week 18th-25th July and as it stands nothing has been canceled... fingers crossed it stays that way as lockdown around the world eases.
We just want to get away for some sun and sand and perhaps a few beers too! |

What makes you think they wouldnt be?
Atm you can book flights their in July with most main airlines (Ryanair, Wizz Air, Jet2 etc) depending on their flight schedule
And apparently Spain are going to allow air travel to the country to increase to all EU states from 21st June, incl UK as they deem us to be in ‘transition from’ not outside of the EU
So we certainly hope flights will be running x |

Just had message from Venus Star swinger resort, cancelled our holiday we had booked from July 8 till 15. Just to escape a few day's from one island to another jejeje. They said that they had a few bookings and people are willing to come but flights been cancelled.
Had a talk with Jenny, owner of club Secret and they don't think they will be open in July same as our club Mystique Tenerife.
Do we're going to wait a bit longer. It's so said to see so many businesses still closed....
Hopefully everything a little back to normal in a few months. |

Erte , covid payment , has been extended until the end of September, that says a lot. Major bars and hotels aren’t planning to open here until September at the earliest. Travel insurance is also a big issue, who pays if you get the virus on holidays? |

I'm sorry but we decided to wait a bit longer, loved to stay in venus during the day and party at Secret in night time.....
when most favourites restaurants & bars are still closed we are going when venus is open again. Probably September if we're still closed with Mystique.
You all will have a great holiday for shore. Xxx Nora |

yes, just a nice break would be welcomed right now! The rise in prices may be a false economy, there are those who will have less money to spend, if they haven't been working. |

According to priti Patel this morning it seems that the air corridors haven't been finalised yet so it's going to be interesting to see what happens and how soon they can be agreed. We were hoping to get away next month but as it stands I doubt that will happen. |

Arriving 18th June for a cheeky week. Giving Gold a miss this time, fancy somewhere else for a change. Staying at Don Miguel this time. Summertime is quiet for swinging, busiest times Oct - May. Saying that looks like there’s a few couples booked up for June -July time. Some clubs will be shut for their holidays and others may close earlier and on some nights. Tipsy Hammock is a good place to go for a social on afternoons. Nudist beach along maspalomas is a good place to meet through the day…… can’t remember kiosk number for swingers, think it’s kiosk 4??
Gold is a fab hotel by the way, we’re there in Jan (about 10th time now)……we’re back there later in the year. Book a superior junior suite, they’re to die for!!!
See yous all in June, have fun you sexy lot!

Is Gold hotel swinging place or vanilla ? Someone wrote last year that there is no naked sunbathing.
Is it true ?
Do you guys use a full packet from the travel agent or you book the hotel and flight separately? |

"Is Gold hotel swinging place or vanilla ? Someone wrote last year that there is no naked sunbathing.

Gold is an adults only vanilla hotel. There are no swinging hotels, only hotels that are adult, naked sunbathing (typically rooftop) that can be frequented by swingers.
If you want something close to a swinging hotel, then you’ll have to look at a swingers resort. There are three; Venus Star, La Mirage and the new SW Paradise (located at the old Venus). All of these are a taxi ride from the Cita.
Booking flight and hotel separately can give you some financial benefits rather than a package, but a package gives you peace of mind that everything has been catered for in one booking.
We typically book separate. As veterans of PDI, we know our way around so even the transfer from airport to resort is straightforward for us. Another thing to take into account when booking.
We have done the package a few times mind and will always take a look and compare against booking separately, but it’s only come up trumps for us three times in double digit visits. |

We’re going back to G.C, 26th June to 3rd July. We’ve been in the lifestyle a couple of years - soft swappers but had our fair share of experiences, clubs, parties, orgies. Would love to connect with a like-minded couple who are classy, respectful, discreet and sexy. |

You'll love la Mirage. A great vibe, and only a 30 minute walk to Kiosk 6 on the beach. If you can get in for June/July, you'll get the weather you're looking for and Cita/Yumbo will be rocking. Have a great time. x |
