A big new beach kiosk with a number 6 on it has arrived by Hut No4 & looks set to replace the old white hut soon. Not sure why it’s number 6 though so be careful with directions for newbies!

Kiosk eight is along from five at pdi end, then you have the one where you can’t swim and it has no sun beds, then seven then four.

So I assume when putting the new kiosks in they are re numbering so it makes sense

I wonder if they are putting any toilets in, they were closed last week and then were removed completely and the water was bloody cold

I did ask the kiosk lady at eight if they were going to be replaced but she said “No money” and shrugged her shoulders.

You would think they would sort the toilet situation out, for the comfort of their customers, wouldn't you. They must take lots of money on sunbed rental and on the kiosks. It's alright having a wee in the cold sea, what if you need to do something else, can't do that in the sea!

Kiosk 6 was manoeuvred into its final position by Hut4 late this afternoon. Loads of beer barrels were piled up behind Hut4 so looks like the transfer happens now? From the light house end you have old style Hut1, then new style 8 just after the lagoon, new style 6 in the couples’ nudie bit and new style 7 by Hut7 in the ‘gentlemen’s’ area. May be when all the new ones are in some sensible renumbering will happen?

Yes there is an old number 8 at PDI end, it was the official start of the nudist beach

Must admit we're confused by all of this. We're visiting the nudist beach for the first time in a few weeks.

Walking from near the Cita centre, which kiosk do we go to as a couple wanting to meet other couples?

And which kiosk do we go to for single guys (not gay) ?

Best to get a taxi(€5) from Cita to the lighthouse at Maspalomas. Walking towards PDI it's about a 10 minute stroll, you'll see signs for the start of the nudist area (FKK on signs). Unless they change the number of kiosks, the old Hut 4 was the third kiosk along the beach. If you go past it, you'll see the rainbow flag, for the gay section. It's a lot longer, walking from the PDI end, taxi is worth it. Remember it's a nudist section, not a Swinger's section, so mainly naturists, including families.

None of the new huts are open yet. And none of the naturist huts are swingers only, they are naturist areas, you will see no sex taking place at the kiosks. So to clarify, old hut no4 was the third hut along from the lighthouse. It now has a new no6 hut next to it. Some people are still using the dunes for fun, but are there many naturists using the dunes for sunbathing too or is everyone on the beach/beds near the sea? I presume No4/new no6 is the main naturist area?

For your first time, get a cab to the lighthouse.

Facing out to sea go left towards PDI and stroll along the beach for about 15 minutes, first time you walk it will feel like 30 minutes.

We usually just look for all the sun loungers on the beach.

We dont have any fun on the beach or dunes but see the folks in the bars and clubs later on.

Photos on our profile show the old kiosk 4.

It's a great atmosphere and meeting place.

Have fun, whenever you get there.

Do the new kiosks have toilet for the staff at least?Seemed odd in the past that they were in the old kiosks all day until nigh on 5 in the afternoon with no break or relief and then had to ride out sitting on the back of the 4x4 delivery truck. Perhaps ignoring you while stocking shelves or counting change was the only break they got?
