Fingers crossed we will be in Puerto Rico from 29/7 for 2 weeks, flight is going ahead just waiting for a new hotel as the one we were staying in doesn’t open until 31/8! Can’t wait to get back to the island |

quick question - is anyone who is booked to fly in the next 14 days still going ahead with their trip?
We're due to fly out Thursday morning, but booked separately with Ryan Air and Airbnb. So cancelling is not an option! Ouch! |

We are still going ahead on the 10th. The quarantine doesn’t effect us as such as we can work from home. But one the kids starts secondary school 10 days after we arrive back and our parents who are travelling with us have been told they can’t take extra time off work if they have to quarantine. |

Thanks for your replies. We reached out to our Airbnb host and they agreed a full refund! Which just leaves the flights. The problem is finding something else at short notice without paying through the nose. |

We are due to fly Wednesday 14:00 from Birmingham, at time of writing we still have no hotel, the original booked is still closed and OTB still haven’t provided an alternative!!! With quarantine rules now in place we won’t be travelling keeping fingers crossed OTB don’t provide an alternative hotel now and may stand to get some money back. |

We have had a change of heart and decided to go on Thursday! Looking at the cost of a replacement last minute trip to the Greek Islands and the loss of the flight money.
We will be mostly chilling by the pool or on the beach and having dinners on our terrace.
Stay safe, wherever you are x |

We took the opportunity to cancel ours. Tui were in touch to say the travel restrictions will still be in place right up until our travel date. Our holiday could still go ahead but we could still need to quarantine after (which we can't do).
We took the option to cancel for free instead of amend because we couldn't be sure Tui would still be around next year. Sad times! |

"Just arrived. Half empty plane but pretty easy sorting everything out. Just the slight pain on the ears from the mask wearing for four hours. No alcohol on board either except some wine. "
Hope you have a great holiday |

"Police are going round closing every bar that doesn’t serve food at 10:30pm tonight in yumbo
Gosh...what's that all about?"
It’s very frustrating for the bar owners. But the whole side of where funny boys is never opened tonight. But then every bar without a food licence were told to close. The bar owners aren’t happy . But we’re told €8000 fine if they stayed open.
Other bars however selling food are open as usual |

It's all f@#ck?¥, so you can get COVID when you're in a bar/nightclub but not in a restaurant
All depends on your license, the same in the mainland |

"we have a very inteligente virus, you can still do anything you want .. except visit a bar or a disco ....
1200 people partying on a parking no problemo stop the madness "
It's amazing! It's like here in the UK. The virus won't get you in a supermarket!
People need to be safe, but come on folks- be safe and support others.
We can't wait to get back out and we will take precautions of course. We will however support the local businesses and enjoy ourselves.
