I once discovered very personal pictures of a female colleague on her laptop that she asked me to have a look at. She forgot to empty her trash bin...

In the days of dial-up modems, I had to install some software from a floppy disc on a PC used by a client's female accountant. This lady was mid-40's, very respectable, bookish (conservative plain glasses) & wore a t skirt and modest blouse.

When me and an ex split up (amicably) I had to go and get some work files off her computer, it was about 6 weeks after we split and whilst I was getting my files I decided to have one last look at the pictures we had done together. I found a new folder of pictures if her dressed as a school girl etc. |

I will admit to accidentally (and it really was an accident) seeing topless pictures of a good friend and work colleague ones when I fixed her laptop for her. A good few years ago I used to fix a lot of family and friends computers. One day I was at the house of a close family friend fixing their PC when I came across a folder that had been hidden and named randomly. Bear in mind this was a good 15 years ago so most houses had a shared computer. I had a job for a couple of summer holidays, working for a well known photo developing and printing company when I was in my late teens.

Quite a few years ago now when digital cameras were still quite a new thing , a good mate of mine asked me if he could borrow mine for a couple of days
He asked me how to transfer the pics to his computer so told him how to to it
So he returned the camera a couple of days later and told me he had transferred the pics fine and had deleted the card
When I checked he had deleted the card but what he did not realise that the camera have a very small internal memory and the first few pics you took were stored onto that and not the memory card itself

Here's the start of my true tale - aside from the name of the individual - of "found on a laptop" which I am writing up in a draft email for posting on 'guys':

I had known Tommy for years. Memory fails as to how our orbits originally intersected. A good 35 years older than me, he had moved away with work then came back in to the area after redundancy caused him to take retirement two years early. During the winter it was bloody freezing and I kept saying he should get a laptop and his retort was "What would I need with one of those?"
And so it went on.
One summer he went to America for three weeks for a wedding............ and came back with a Dell laptop. Apparently "everyone over there has one". Of course it was an American one, physical keyboard layout, power socket, you name it.
To say I was raging was the understatement. Thankfully, when I saw it, the power supply was the pull apart kind with varying current in the transformer so "all" I had to do was get a lead with a UK plug on it. Maplin to the rescue again.
Whilst he made a brew, I got to work "UK-ifying" his laptop.
His desktop was cluttered with photos, vid links and browser links so I resolved to create folders to group them with one link to each type. When I moved the photos in to a folder, it was set to the then equivalent of "Show large icons" and the screen was littered with photos of naked youths early 20s of both genders all engaged in some sexual activity, not always one on one and not all heterosexual. I found a phone once. Left it on incase the owner rang it. She did and asked me to put in the pass code to show it was hers and then post it off to her as not local. Big mistake. Shouldnt have, but couldnt resist a peak at her pictures. Jesus she had been a naughty girl. Lol |

I used to work for one of the Welsh rugby teams before they became regions and I was very friendly with one of the players.

I’ve repaired lots and lots of iPhones, and it’s surprising how often I find some interesting videos and photos when “testing” the phone once it’s repaired, some in the ‘hidden’ album, some just in photos, or attachments on WhatsApp.
If I’m particularly impressed with them i airdrop them to My phone and I’ve built up a great collection.

My stepdaughter once asked me to put a relative's wedding pics from a flash drive on to her laptop so I transferred them to her desktop then they suddenly disappeared.
