This took place a few years ago on a trip to wales, staying in a caravan.

I had booked a caravan at a caravan park on the north coast in wales and went by myself after recently becoming single.

When checking in to the chalet, which was a two bedroom with wrap around veranda and hot tub, I noticed the chalets either side were also occupied, I waved at one side which appeared to be an older couple in their 70s and on the other was a couple of women, who appeared to be in their 40s, maybe early fifties. I shouted over hello, just to introduce myself, seeing as we would be neighbours, and they waved back and we got into a conversation, explaining my situation and that I was here for the week just for some chilled out time.

I found out that they were Dawn and Helen, they were best mates, and often came to this site as Dawn and her hubby owned the caravan. Helen was also married, and joined Dawn at the caravan for a regular girls weekend away.

Dawn beckoned me over to their veranda to welcome me properly, so I made my way over there and was handed a beer as soon as I got there. This was a nice start to my holiday………

Over the next hour we chatted away about all sorts and couldn’t believe how easy the conversation flowed.

How could I refuse, whilst I enjoyed a jacuzzi on my own, it was so much better being joined by two friendly neighbours!

I explained that I was going to start up the jacuzzi shortly, to check it worked etc, and if they fancied coming over, they would be more than welcome.

Some further time passed as did some more wine, and then the dares started to come out.
