I (Mr) quite often put a pineapple upside down in my shopping trolley. Nobody’s ever said anything to me, but I like to have a giggle to myself. Lol 🍍🤪

Royal Caribbean Cruises loyalty programme, the crown and anchor society top tier members are called "Pinnacle" and everyone takes the piss out of them by calling them "Pineapple". I guess this might be what you're referring to although I have seen some staterooms with a magnetic pineapple on them. I think it's designed to let people know the occupants are open to a bit of fun.
