It had been a year since my divorce, and got myself back on my feet and it was towards the end of the summer and I thought I’ll treat myself to a little break in the sun no drama no kids.
I found a great late deal in Portugal on a golf resort, adults only so no kids screaming round the pool bonus !
3 days before I was due to go I was browsing through fab as we all do, I thought, I’ll have a look in the forums see if anyone is going to be in the area.
Whilst having a scan I see a post golfing couples looking meet in Portugal.
In the post there was various couples and single guys all acknowledging each other and their respective dates at various resorts. I notice a few couples all on the same trip at the same resort all looking forward to their trip and what shenanigans they where hoping to get up to. Fuck it I thought : I posted hi guys I’m there in a few days be great to have a few beers with you at the 19th hole.
Instantly a couple posted “that’s great more the merrier”
See you there ….
