Kitten's Playdate - DDLG

Thurso / Glasgow

The doorbell chimed, a bright, playful sound that made my Kitten, who was happily sorting through her collection of colourful building blocks, bounce with anticipation.

"My friend's here, Daddy! My friend's here!" she chirped, her eyes sparkling like the glitter glue she sometimes sneaks when I pretend that I'm not looking.

I smiled, my heart warming at her obvious excitement.

We were expecting Lily, another little in our community who had travelled up from Inverness, for a soft playdate.

Lily often brought her beloved rabbit stuffy, Bunjamin, a floppy-eared companion who, Kitten had declared, was Mr. Moo's "bestest bunny friend in the whole wide world."

As I opened the door, Lily stood there, a shy smile on her face and Bunjamin nestled securely in her arms. She wore a sweet, age-appropriate dress, but it was the addition of delicate, patterned stockings held up by cute suspenders that caught my eye, adding a subtle touch of playful allure to her otherwise innocent appearance.

Bunjamin, as always, looked quite content in her arms.

"Hello, Daddy," Lily said softly, her voice barely a whisper. Bunjamin's plush nose seemed to twitch in greeting too.

"Hello, Lily, sweetheart. Come in, come in! Kitten has been ever so excited for you and Bunjamin to visit." I offered Lily a warm hug, pulling her gently into my embrace for a moment. The soft fabric of her dress and the gentle pressure of Bunjamin between us felt comforting, a reminder of the innocent comfort these littles often sought - and brought to me.

Kitten rushed forward, her arms outstretched. "Lily! Bunjamin! You're here!" She enveloped Lily in a tight hug, a little squeal of delight escaping her lips. Then, she turned to me, her arms reaching up. I happily obliged, pulling her close for a Daddy hug, the familiar scent of her hair a comforting anchor.

The two littles immediately gravitated towards the playroom Kitten and I had created for such occasions, a world of soft rugs, colourful toys, and boundless imagination. Mr. Moo sat regally on a pile of cushions, seemingly observing the unfolding playdate with a wise, silent gaze.

"We're going to have a tea party!" Kitten announced, her hands already reaching for her miniature tea set. "Bunjamin and Mr. Moo are the very important guests!" She gave Mr. Moo a little squeeze, a gesture that often preceded her deeper need for connection.

Lily carefully placed Bunjamin at the tiny table, making sure he had a good view of all the pretend cakes and biscuits. The cute stockings and suspenders were visible as she knelt.

"He likes strawberry jam best," she confided to Kitten, her voice still soft but gaining a little more confidence. She gave Bunjamin a gentle cuddle, a mirroring of the comfort she sometimes craved.

The imaginative play unfolded beautifully. Kitten and Lily poured imaginary tea, offered Bunjamin and Mr. Moo tiny slices of pretend cake, and chattered away in their own little world. Bunjamin, positioned carefully by Lily, was often included in the conversations, with Lily providing his soft, squeaky "responses."

I watched them from the doorway, a warm feeling spreading through me. It was lovely to see Kitten so happy, sharing her littlespace with a friend who understood and embraced it, a space where needs for comfort and closeness were often expressed in innocent yet significant ways.

Sometimes though, it was expressed with "less subtle" visual cues, such as Lily's choice of attire.

After the tea party, Kitten declared it was time for "doctor, doctor." Lily, with Bunjamin as her patient, carefully listened to his plush chest with a toy stethoscope. The slight glimpse of her stockings and suspenders as she leaned over set my pulse racing. A real stethoscope would have betrayed my carnal thoughts at that moment.

"Oh dear," she said with a serious expression, pretending to mimic a grown-up. "Bunjamin has a case of the queefy teefs. He needs lots of cuddles and maybe a tiny bit of honey."

I laughed; even at my age, the word "queef" and the sound when it happens makes me giggle like the very girls who were playing.

Kitten, ever the helpful nurse, rushed to retrieve a soft blanket and a pretend honey pot. Together, they carefully tucked Bunjamin in, showering him with gentle pats and soothing words. Kitten leaned over and gave Mr. Moo a comforting hug too, just so he didn't feel left out.

As the afternoon progressed, the play became a little more focused on soft touch. Lily, holding Bunjamin close, leaned against Kitten, and they shared a quiet hug, a simple act that carried a weight of unspoken comfort and connection. The gentle lines of Lily's stockings were visible as she shifted. "My Bunjamin likes soft strokes," she murmured, winking at me, whilst gently stroking the rabbit's ears.

Kitten mirrored the action with Mr. Moo.

Soon, the two littles were sitting side-by-side, their stuffies nestled between them, quietly stroking the soft plush and occasionally leaning in for a gentle hug.

Then, Lily looked up at me, her eyes a little shy but with a hint of something more. "Daddy," she said softly, a slight tremor in her voice. She carefully handed Bunjamin to Kitten. Then, she stood up and walked over to me, the cute stockings and suspenders drawing my eye as she moved. Reaching up, she gently placed her hands on my cheeks, her touch surprisingly tender. She leaned in, her lips soft as a butterfly's wing brushing against mine.

The kiss was sweet, lingering for a moment, a soft expression of affection that held a hint of deeper feeling.

As she pulled back slightly, her eyes met mine, and she whispered, "I love you, Daddy."

Kitten, watching with innocent curiosity, then held out Mr. Moo. "Mr. Moo wants a Daddy kiss too!"

I smiled, a warmth spreading through me at Lily's sweet gesture and gave Mr. Moo a gentle kiss on his plush nose. Then, I pulled both girls close, enveloping them in a comforting hug, the three of us in a little bundle of softness.

Later, as the playdate wound down, Lily snuggled Bunjamin close, her cheek resting against his soft fur, a contented sigh escaping her lips. My eyes once again glimpsed her stockings and suspenders as she settled.

"Thank you for having us, Daddy," she said feigning sleepiness, effortlessly getting her eyelids to droop, selling the scene.

As I helped Lily with her coat, her attire was a gentle reminder of the different ways littles expressed themselves. Lily was a lot of fun to be around, but I loved Kitten and her more innocent, babygirl style.

Kitten gave Bunjamin one last gentle pat and then hugged Lily goodbye, a sweet exchange of affection. "Bye-bye, Bunjamin! See you soon!"

After Lily and Bunjamin had gone, Kitten curled up on the sofa with Mr. Moo, a contented sigh escaping her lips. "That was the bestest playdate ever, Daddy," she murmured, her eyes already half-closed.

"Bunjamin is Mr. Moo's very best friend, and Lily is mine." She snuggled Mr. Moo close, then reached for me, pulling me into a gentle hug.

I sat beside her, pulling a soft blanket over us both. Mr. Moo was nestled between us, and Kitten's small hand rested trustingly on my arm.

I was reminded yet again that these moments of shared innocence and soft affection, the loving words, tender kisses, and subtle expressions found in littlespace were the heart of our world.

The imaginative play, the comforting presence of Bunjamin, and the gentle expressions of affection from both littles had created a sweet and tender atmosphere.

It was a perfect example of a soft kink playdate within our DDLG dynamic, where innocent gestures often held a deeper, cherished meaning, where everyone felt safe, seen, heard, and above all loved.
