I work on a ward with the elderly. They normally come to our ward till they get moved on to either psych ward for dementia or a nursing home. Some get home after good recovery, some pass away. I’m a charge nurse. In my time on the ward, we get groped and flashed quite a lot. Weekly, sometimes a few times a week. But over the years, I’ve be asked to carry out services for cash. I’ve never done it, and never will. I love my job and wouldn’t risk it. But I can tell you, some nurses and care assistants have managed to get a pretty penny out of a few wealthy old men. A grand plus. You know it’s happening when you come back from a day or few days off, and a gentleman has been moved from a ward to a side room, away from the nurses station. And he has a big grin on his face lol. Then nurses and care assistants are dripping in new designer gear, or off on holiday. I can tell you one very sassy care assistant has it down to a fine art. She always gets them up to over a grand. And one night, I seen her slip into a room, close the blinds and about 2 mins later, I heard the loud groan. I said to her, “You clearly have great oral skills”. She replied. “So good, they just paid me £700 a minute”. lol. You have to admire her tenacity 😂 |
