So this happened a while ago in my last job. It's 100% true so I've changed names just in case.

Several weeks passed with no sign of her which was a relief. Hopefully that's the end of her I thought. But I was very wrong.

Several weeks later Bec came to the pub and hugged me straight away, I stiffened up not expecting the embrace. She was like a different woman.
