It really is often mostly down to that drastic drop in hormones. It’s so fucking sad because if you simply don’t have the drive to have sex, it’s very hard to pretend to want it. I just hope that when I reach that stage I have a good doctor who is well versed in HRT and I can get the treatment I need.
Menopause hasn’t been spoken about and doctors haven’t been educated enough until recent times

my wife went through the menopause and sex dried up! thing is without the sex we started getting further apart and not getting on... was at the point of calling it quits
luckily we talked kiss n cuddles and months later sex still early days but she gets wet now and wants kisses everyday

Fingers crossed for you both, I was in a lot of pain for a long time till I was referred to gyne - vaginal dryness - it’s an actual breaking down of the tissue in the vaginal walls - tried a couple of types of med but seem to be much better now, foreplay and lube work wonders- which is great as my laid is back with a bang xx |

I asked my gf to discuss with the doctor, which she did once. The doctor was dismissive and unhelpful so she just gave up. |
