On a recent business trip to the far east, I visited a collegue of mine who had been in a traffic accident. Visit went well and he should be out soon. I was walking down a corridor and saw a sign that intriged me (signs in english as well as local). Sperm donation - Machine extraction. I asked a passing nurse who was happy to tell me more. Being rolled out in the FE as well as Europe (not uk) this allows men to donate sperm using a 'standup' method connected to a machine. The hospital had not had anyone try it out and would I be willing to be their first? The sperm was used for medical analysis not for fertility purposes. I was led to a room and the machine stood in a corner. It was white in colour about 5 feet tall and had a screen on top. I suppose like a small vending machine! In the centre was a hole with a protruding pipe. The nurse switched on the screen and it displayed two women together...plenty of "oohs" and "ahhs" from the twin speakers in the machine. The nurse said, the penis is inserted into the pipe which then moves back and forth simulating intercourse. It gently heats up and applies lube to the penis. The inside contained a large "sheath" which would contain the collected sperm (and also for obvious health reasons). The internals of the pipe had bumps and ridges made of soft rubber. She left the room and said a light would appear outside to show the room was occupied. I unzipped and watched the screen. Took a few seconds to get erect and I switched the machine on.
