I was 19 and just about to leave home to join the Army. I had always had a bit of a crush on my best friends mum. She was about 50 very pretty with curly dark hair. She was slim and quite petite, only about 5’2.
This was before mobile phones so the only way of contacting my friend was to call round. I had done the same for years. He wasn’t always home and usually his mum would just tell me he wasn’t in and I would wander off.
The same happened here, she told me he wasn’t home as he was seeing his dad and was away for the weekend. His mum and dad had split a couple of years ago.
Where I would usually walk off straight away I paused, I had to think where to go as I had been arguing with my step dad and had hoped to stay for the night.
As I paused she noticed and asked if everything was ok. I told her I didn’t want to go home so she invited me in.

When I got in I told her why I didn’t want to go home and I had hoped if Rob was in and I might be able to stay.
Linda made me tell her about my issues at home fully and then said although Rob wouldn’t he home tonight I could stay.
She then said she didn’t have any plans and had just started drinking a bottle of wine. She showed me the fridge and a few drinks that were in it. She poured herself her second glass of wine and handed me a beer.
At first we sat and watched a film. Then after the film and another couple of drinks each we started talking. Linda started asking me more about my problems at home then I told her I was leaving in a couple of weeks anyway to join the Army. She said it would probably be good for me.
Then I asked her if she was doing ok. She said yes she knew it was sad she was siting in alone on a Friday night drinking by herself.
Linda then went to the kitchen to get us both another drink. When she came back she handed me my beer and instead of sitting back in her chair she sat next to me on the sofa. |

We started getting more comfortable as we started chatting properly. We both turned towards each other so we’re sat side by side on the sofa but facing each other.
Linda started opening up about what happened with her ex and was saying she had been single since but needed to start getting out as she was starting to feel lonely.
She then said it was sad that she was telling me all this but she didn’t really have a close friend to talk to. It seemed like now she started talking about it she wanted to get it out.
She then made a comment about her age and her appearance saying who is going to a want to date her!
Without thinking I said don’t be silly you are gorgeous! She looked at me and smiled and I could almost feel the atmosphere changing |

She went to get us yet another drink. I was starting to feel pretty d*unk by now!
As she sat back down she was a little closer. Then I remember thinking she had undone a button on her top. I could quite clearly now see her cleavage. I was sure it hadn’t been that open before I would have definitely noticed it.
I started to doubt myself thinking am I imagining what I want to happen. Only one way to know for sure I guess!
Without pausing I told Linda she looked lovely and leant forward to kiss her. She let me give her a peck on the lips and as we looked at each other she said quietly “We really shouldn’t”
But as she was saying it she was leaning forward again to return my kiss! |
