Unfinished storys

This is extremely frustrating, I do recognise it takes time to write a good story having written a few previously, but frustrating when folk either give up or post updates once a week or so
Having said that, there are some cracking writers on here now! |

I totally agree, another annoying thing, not to the writers as such, just the ones that might post three lines and there’s about eight posts before even getting to a sexy bit, I know the stories have to be built up but much rather a straight story straight out |

Speaking as one who has written and stopped you might have to ask why
One story I ended up being bimbarded with messages some of which were unpleasant
Another was overtaken by someone else wanting to tell their story
I honestly don’t mind as most of my stories are based on real life and I dont have to finish the story as I know what happened
As for rude comments and nasty words because some people have a life offline and can’t just do a story all in one go, it makes genuine posters sometimes unwilling to continue or do anymore |

You post a story on here, and get DM's, taking the piss, or I can do better.
A lot of people read and don't leave a  or a thanks, you lose interest in writing the next bit and then lose the story and have to hunt it down.
The one thing I will say is you know people have read the story but the number of profile views.
It's not as easy as you would think to post a story on here. |

I think this is something where people give something for free, that you enjoy. As others have noted, sometimes the response is... unpleasant or creepy.
If you want to be sure of completed work, I suggest purchasing published erotica. |

I am guilty off doing this .Not finishing.
Most of the time it's getting the time to sit down and type it all out.Also I write when I am feeling horny so the story's come out as I think them up.
It I am not feeling horny then there is sort off a writers block. |

I'm guilty of this sometimes, it's not intentional. Like mine that I just updated after a while.
I didn't intend to leave it so long but I had to take a break from the site for a personal reason and wasn't able to finish it time.
I used to write them straight here as I went but I've started to write stories just to myself until I have a bunch of chapters and then will start posting them on here. That why when adulting takes over, I have a chapter already, ready to go. |

Especially those who only ever post emojis and the general lack of meaningful contributions, hardly encouraging. |

Oh god. Please don't do that. I've had it happen to me and it's wildly off putting."

I don't mind people taking the idea and posting their own thread, but continuing someone else's story without them inviting that sort of thing is another matter.
I started one years ago - I was gradually building tension, had something quite specific in mind, and someone took over (within hours of me posting, so I hadn't abandoned it), and completely ruined it. |

I still wouldn't do it. I've had stories where life has taken over, and I completely intend to return to it.

The problem is that this forum isn't made for Stories, it's made for everything - clubs, meets, etc. There's one system, not a bespoke option for each section. |
