I had a dream that the fact I mention at least three times on my profile that I am not actively looking to meet at the moment, have my not looking for set so new people get a warning when they message me, have mentioned that a no reply is a no thanks (as is also pointed out in the site FAQ and on the fora ad infinitum) and also point out that it's for lack of time rather than inclination (neither of which I can do anything about anyway) would maybe, just maybe be enough to prevent people I have never spoken to before sending a message asking if I want to meet now and feeling upset if I don't reply since I feel I have already done more than enough to preempt any such request... |

Well can assure all that message us get a reply even if it's a polite your not for us treat people as you like to be treated we say and don't get any abusive messages so must be getting it about rite lol |

Unfortunately that's not always the case when it comes from a single fem. Amazing how quickly we go from the most amazing thing to a fat cunt when you say 'thanks but no thanks. Have fun'. Never had that problem on my couple profile. So that alone is a good enough reason to not respond to crap messages. |

I can't understand why anyone would want their inbox filled with messages from women who aren't interested in them saying 'No thanks'. In fact I can't think of anything more depressing.
In the real world I don't send letters of reply to every piece junk mail I receive and when I get mail from guys on here I normally don't reply either. Why would I want to waist time on things or people I'm not interested in.
Guys and the OP, no reply means 'not interested, no thanks'. If you don't like it tough, the person you sent it to isn't interested in you or whether you like the way that they've let you know. Deal with it, get over it and move on. |

Like the one directly above this you mean?? People block all single guys from messaging so they don't get bombarded with messages and like to send out messaged to the guys that interest them. |

Lol. It did take me 20 mins to post a reply. Obviously not quick enough. In future I won't get the kids ready for school and just reply to needy posts instead  |

There is normally 30 guys to a woman on here, some are rude thats life some reply and get abuse if its a no thanks thats not fair either, i think if you message someone with no photos your just sad have some self respect for yourself ya know there is alot of decent people on here dho |

I always reply to my messages (which is rare!) But to abuse someone when they say "No", and keep hounding them, is wrong. Would you do that to someone in the street! No. They are hiding behind the internet because you can't see them. Low Life I call them. Good manners are free. |
