I had a conference call at noon with directors for the report on the office but at 1145 I had call booked with Linda & Tim plus the MD.
I quickly got all I needed together then called Carol in along with dept heads, they were worried about my report, I told them all they had nothing to fear, no cuts in this office, but Head Office had a few problems & a restructuring was about to happen there. Confused looks as no one had heard any whispers
I then asked the office director to stay and gave him my stuff, he looked at me asking what's going on, I replied this is my last day, I resigned 3 months ago, I'm owed holidays and HR sorted everything so after the calls I'm off, new horizons bla bla
1140 Carol came in the boss had told everyone I was going she was shocked said you said promised things & now this

1145 I opened the call, the MD Peter said why this when you have us all at noon, I replied time to take stock and say goodbye

1230 on my watch, 1 hour to change get the car and see if Carol would turn up
