In the Browse option, how can I search an area in the UK using specified criteria? Only counties in Ireland come up.

Change the Country setting in the top right hand corner above the Fabswingers.com text from Ireland to UK

in the advance search you can search by distance from a town or postcode

The distance search doesn't work when the Country setting is set to Ireland, he still needs to change it to UK
