How do hotel meets work?

Ok, this may seem a silly question. How do hotel meets work?
Can you book a room and check out after your session or have to check out I'm the morning.
If you book it as a couple how donyou get your meets in? Do you just give them your room number and they are allowed in without booking in?
Sorry if it sounds silly, we have never done this before. Our children are too old now for us to meet at home woth them there, so looking for alternatives.

Some hotels do day booking but if not you can check out early anyway cos as long as you have paid they dont care. Give your meets your room number but make sure they act like they should be there otherwise meet them outside and walk in together. |

Use a hotel chain
Meet in the bar or check if a key card is needed to operate the lift and if not its OK to meet at the room but as others have said ensure your date walks to room with an air of confidence.
Leave any time you want after as only of the hotel chains don't require formal check-out as extras if any are settled by a credit card guarantee taken at check-in
Day use hotels are another option

As much as i agree you shouldnt meet someone you dont like at a hotel unless you are haveing the social and stated that as its a waste of time for all parties. |

I would imagine things will be slightly different now due to Covid.
People a probably have to scan the test and trace app or provide details entering anywhere.
Previously I've either met someone in the bar or just checked in and said my partner will be arriving later. |

No need to say anything at check in. They really don't care! Big brother wasn't watching pre covid. I expect now you have to have a passport to say you're safe  |

Hotels are easy.
I never handed door cards in. Just left them in room and left
Pretend to be on phone or going for a smoke if you feel awkward.

That's how I read it as we did home meets when the kids were at home but now we can't because they are older i.e. likely to get up walk about.
Hopefully the OP can clarify.

If the hotel room has been paid for the hotels really don’t care.
If you feel funny about leaving early just leave the room keys/cards in the room and leave. As long as you don’t have any extras to pay for there is no worries |

Double snap...this above also gives you a chance to have a chat in the bar to ensure that you 'click' and also maximises the build up and horny anticipation. Getting 2 keycards when you check in can also be handy as a just in case.. |

Most chain hotels use a key card. If you ask for 2 cards (1 each) on arrival then if you are meeting somebody you know, you can meet at a bar and give them the second key. Remember to tell them where lift is etc, then they can follow 15 minutes after. Enter the hotel and go straight up to the room. |

So your qualifying criteria for meeting someone is that you’ve messaged them once and had a quick look at their profile?! Sorry, but I think most people (particularly women, who are more likely to have safety to think about) need a bit more than that. So I’m not sure how the lady responding to you has complicated things?! |

I just book the room in my name: arrive at the same time, ask reception to give them a key if they are after me, or let them in myself depending where it is.
I only do hotel meets. Never been an issue.
If I stay the night I check out the next morning (with or without them) or if I’m going home just check out after.
Staff couldn’t care less and working in that industry know exactly what your up too lol.  |
