I have a younger fwb girl that would like to experience certain scenarios where we would be together.
Is it possible to change my account from single man to couple for a certain period then back to single again or would we have to create a another account?

If you retain your single account, it prevents you having verifications for different types of engagement with others. It's simpler.

I’ve not heard of them changing a single man’s account to a couples one in ten years I’ve been here. |

There is no way of changing a verified male account from single to couple and back again as and when required. Or a single woman's for that matter.
Your best bet as mentioned is to either open a separate couples account. |
