We prefer night time but i think as with everything its down to personal choice.

A lot will depend on the site itself, all the sites I know are in public use.by day, so not really suitable.

In my experience it's very hit and miss, depends on site and weather and even then it's random. You might be better arranging a meet with some doggers on here.
