I was about 14. My mum and dad had split up and i stayed at home with dad. This was in the 70's and it was the norm for my dad to get home from work have a couple of hours at home and at 9 go to pub till last orders. This happened most nights.
Anyway one night being a bit bored and still don't know why i found some clothes that my mum had left. Intrigued i tried them on a bra which i filled the cups with socks. Found a pair of tights a dress that looked awful and a pair of silver strappy 2 inch heels.
I looked a sight to say the least. But somehow it felt good. Looking in a drawer i found some make up, lipstick mascara etc. Didnt know exactly what i should do but i tried.
I was hooked. From that i got more experienced, started going into clothes shops and buying clothes and heels. Underwear and ff stockings from a little stall in the market in town. I still looked a site but a bit more coordinated.
After a while not sure why probably because at the time it was thought that it was the wrong thing to do. I had a purge and got rid of all the stuff i had bought and over the years this continued buying clothes and after a while feeling guilty as most tv/cd do.

Dressed fully for ten years or more then retired and now I occasionally wear black or tan tights with short skirts/dresses. It’s always been miniskirts and tights for me and I’m told I’ve got great legs even at my age lol. |
