I’ve blocked black shadow profile pics in my settings, cos if they can’t make an effort to put a photo on, I can’t be bothered to reply!!!
but they are still getting through, how can I stop them?? X |

You can't. All you can do is block people without pictures in your Message Filters settings as I think you've done. But there is nothing to stop people activating a pic before they message you and then hide it again once they've hit sent. Its a quirk of Fab's settings.
Like you say...can't be bothered to reply then just don't. That's your "defence" as it were. |

It's simply a broken filter. We've heard various reasons and accused someone once of making a pic public just to message but he insisted he didn't. Don't think Fab have ever admitted it but there's something wrong with that filter.
Luckily we can just delete, unread, anything with a blank profile pic, or a dick pic.

These profiles are just stupid.
People dont get that it could be a picture of anything, they're desperate to protect their identity.
No pictures or those profiles that will share pics when they feel comfortable.....get blocked. |

Perhaps the filter should be dynamic, such that any moment, after sending mail, that they no longer conform to the filter's requirements, that the message gets deleted from the recipients inbox and an error message gets sent to the sender.
The filter and message rules need some fine and not so fine, tuning, to support people getting access only from people who fully and continuously match their requirements. |

Exactly this. And a filter for distance would help too....getting no end of messages from guys in Ireland and Scotland and although Char loves an accent, that's ridiculously far away.
