We'd maybe suggest finding a classier way of hiding your face in your first pic, thinking about the age range that you'd like to meet, and adding something with a bit more character in the text - hobbies or something - so people can hang a conversation on something.
Consider a club or organised socials to try and get that important first meet verification, then just have patience.
