Not sure if I'm misunderstanding terminology, or whether several guys recently have misled me to get a meet! As far as I understood, but I may be totally wrong:
Fully bi - oral and penetrative, giving and receiving
Bi top - penetrative giving
Bi bottom - penetrative receiving
Orally bi - oral both ways
Recently had descriptions of bi top which have turned out to be oral receiving only (if that!)
Would anyone be kind and candid enough, to tell me what they mean if they refer to themselves by any of these terms? Much appreciated! |

Best way is just to have a conversation and ask what aspects of bi play do they enjoy or want to try.
Because while there are widely accepted terms, people are pretty diverse in what they like.
Plenty of bi and gay guys don't like or can't do anal play. Just like some straight people don't like or can't do anal play. |

Some men would do (well, say) anything to get a meet. Including lie that they are bi (it applies to women in couples, too) if that's what is required by a couple or single lady who enjoys watching bi men. The proof is always in the pudding, so initial chat, checking verifications if they have any, and then during the meet being prepared they may suddenly remember they are actually straight, or barely "hetero flexible" or "bi playful".

The top/bottom bit refers to anal. Based on having lots of gay male friends I would say that virtually all bi bottom men give oral and virtually all tops receive it. On a personal level, I find it best to ignore labels and initialisms and discuss what people are into. It was only reading the forums here that alerted me to the fact that the relative positions of the letters in MMF meant something and that I wasn’t the only person not understanding the significance of that. |

A bi top is far more likely to receive oral than give. |

I class myself as bi curious because I am only orally bi as I like give and receive but maybe I’m better to say I’m Orally bi - oral both ways is a better individual of my desires.  |

Gets more complicated when you have guys who will happily do a bit of bi-play as part of a threesome but aren't attracted to men and would never consider a 1-on-1 with a man. We recently had a conversation with another couple (man handling comms) where the dude felt the need to repeatedly tell us he wasn't bisexual. Unsurprisingly it didn't work out. |

I've always thought that bi-curious meant "never done it but would like to try". It still suggests that there is attraction to men. If Pinky sucks cock, that's nothing to do with his sexuality and everything to do with submission and the desire to please a partner. We need to think up another name for it that doesn't have "sexual" on the end. |

True. I've just changed mine ha!...bisexual is more accurate than curious. I didn't want bisexual to lead anyone to think that I was fully and not just orally bi. But then the profile clears that up. Worth a read of this thread this morning for sure |

I would consider myself fully bisexual as I tick all the boxes in terms of those definitions, which are a good assessment! There are a lot of guys who say they are bi to get into the good books of a bi couple with the intention of playing with the female and not the guy! Sounds like your last guy who claimed to be top! |

Completely agree with all your definitions. I have had last minute meets with male/female couples who were let down on that day by pretend bisexual men. There is a really easy (and really fun) way to prove bi genuineness on a meet that gets a couple relieved enough for both to want to play. I am more than happy to do it for the right couple. |

That seems more accurate to my understanding. There is also a term ( switch) meaning they can enjoy any of the above depending on how they feel on the day and how comfortable they are with the person they are with |

The definitions are quite accurate although you're always better off asking an individual what they enjoy. For example, I like giving and receiving oral plus mutual wanking/frottage. Not really into anal but do enjoy a tongue or finger up there. So not sure what category I'd be in! |

I think this shows that on the whole your definitions are correct, but there could be variations on this for some people.
Some will prefer certain things and others won't, yet the label might be slightly misleading if you don't ask those people what appeals to them and how they see and view this.
It can be a minefield so just ask is thenbest advice I can give. Can't fault you for showing interest into what they like.  |

A quick and not comprehensive glossary of terms....
"Fully Bi" - Meaningless term used on fab for some unknown reason???
"Bisexual" to be attracted to, and or enjoy having sex with both men and women.
"BiCurious"- this has lost all meaning on here, so nobody actually knows what someone means when they say it, best just to ask!
"Situationally Bi" Not attracted to same sex per se, but in certain circumstances will get horny enough to to 'go with the flow'.
"Fab Bi" Claiming to be Bi to get acess to the female half of a bi couple.
"Fab Str8" Claiming to be str8 to avoid social stigmatism but is actually Bi.
"MSM" (Men who have sex with Men.) Not attracted to men emotionally or physically, but partake in sex acts with other men. (The "any hole is a goal philosophy")
"Out" Living openly
"Closeted" it's a secret outside of fabs.
"Discrete" Married man whose wife doesn't know.
"Bi Top" - penatration, giving.
"Bi Bottom" - penetration,receiving.
"Bi vers" (versatile) Gives and receives penetration.
Orally bi - only engages in Oral sex, not anal.
Top and Bttm usually refer to Anal Sex, but can also be used to describe Oral preferences. (Top and Btm are not the same as dominant and submissive!)
I would describe myself as a Closeted Bisexual who is Orally Versatile. But Top only for Anal

Bisexual just means you're sexually attracted to both sexes. That's either true or it isn't. You can't be fully bi, or half-bi, or square root of two bi. It's nonsensical. A bisexual man who doesn't like anal is just a bisexual man who doesn't like anal. |

We do have a lot of guys that identify as straight in their profile but claim to be bi top to get a response from us. We actually find it very off putting when men identify as this because in most cases it means "I will let hubby suck my dick if it means I can fuck the wife"...Bisexuality is simple, you are attracted to both sexes, whether you like giving or receiving is just a preference, but the true test is this...would you be willing to just play with a guy with no woman involved?

Pink bi = full bisexual (receives and gives oral and anal)
Red bi = only receives anal, gives and receives oral.
Orange bi = only receives anal, only gives oral
Yellow bi = only gives anal, only receives oral
Green bi = no anal, receives and gives oral
Blue bi = no anal, only gives oral
Purple bi = no anal, only receives oral
Brown bi = no anal, no oral, just kissing and holding hands
White bi = attracted to men but has never done anything with a man. |

* Just thinking about it
* Curious and actively looking to try/experiment
* Not my first choice but I'm horny and on the odd occasion I'll take what's on offer

Bi curious is a strange term since by definition you should only be curious once.
I think bi-friendly would be a better term.
My partner defines herself as straight meaning she will never actively seek a female partner.
Having said that she has played with females numerous time.
Had one on ones, gone down on and been gone down on often, uses toys or masturbates them virtually every meet, used strap-0ns giving and receiving and regularly plays femdom as the mistress.
But ask her and she will say she’s straight !
In my definition she’s bi-friendly and certainly not curious. |
