Blocked for no reason

"Has anyone else been blocked after sending a selfie? yea just mean they can't explain or don't why and or maybe for many reasons Move on find others but block the ignorant."
What about it is ignorant?
A man messaged me who I recognised as the husband of someone I know. I blocked him and moved on. I'm not going to explain that I know him and his wife (he was on as a single male btw but profile said with wifes permission) I'm not going to make him feel uncomfortable by knowing that I know he's on here and I had no intentions of meeting him anyway so blocking was the best option. |

Doesn't matter cant block distances |
"Don't take it personally. I block for all sorts of reasons. Just filters out the ones I know I won't meet.
I'm not everyone's cup of tea likewise lots aren't mine "
Exactly this... |

It's the easy way of not wasting your or their time.
I used the block all the time on my previous profile, if I messaged a woman and she immediately deleted, I assume she's not interested. So block her so she doesn't show up in a search again.
Some block when they see my face, which is fine, I'm not for everyone. I'd rather that than a critique of the aspects of my face they don't like.
Don't make a big deal of it.
As an aside, some will block if your pics or vids reveal too much... nothing wrong with making things a surprise. |

Only when I send my face !
If I send my body it’s grand but then I send on the face pic and blocked straight away "
Then your face probably doesn't match your body.
Fit body then possible geriatric face
Fit body disgusting dental hygiene
Body to face seems fake or mismatched
People steal body pics all the time to catfish.

Blocking is a form of filtering those people who you feel are not compatible. Although a simple 'No thanks' would be more polite, yet it is effective.
Interestingly, time ago I sent a kind message to someone here whose status indicated they had been blocked without explanation; they blocked me immediately after reading my message. Double moral... |

You're not for them, so they don't want further contact. Some guys (not saying that you are one of them), will persist with further messages and verbal abuse, so it deals with that risk. They owe you nothing, it's not personal, move on and find those that do want to engage with you. |

"Iv been blocked when iv never looked at there profile how that works i don't know "
I sometimes block from things I've seem on updates or on the forum. These things can tell me said person is not for me so I block them. |

Blocking can be a positive, a good example is that person or persons decide you are not for them save you time messaging them again and vice a versa
Also I’ve been blocked by people I’ve met at clubs personally and got on and even played , asked if they are on fabs yes the answer then discovered they’d blocked me previously all about perception and timing
There again some people seem to like to Weald their power by the block button , which is cool as they are in control of their own destiny not ours
Same as we might not like someone we meet at work or socially |

Just leave a private note to the reasons or what lead to it etc just to save you from messaging again and wasting your time. Very handy. Sometimes I block back just for the same reasons.. |

Yes, it's a bit brutal but just like no reply it means they're not interested for whatever reason. They've saved you putting time and effort into messaging them again maybe months down the line and saved themselves time reading your well intentioned message. Don't let it get to you. |

Personally, we tend to do this.
We do this because as a couple wanting to find single males, our inbox jams up fast and we simply cannot reply to each and every message.
If F in our couple doesn’t find the M who’s messages attractive, we feel rather than waste your time by you messaging every week or two or each time we post “meet today” people tend to think I’ll try again, it’s just easier to just block as we would never have any intention to meet as the attraction simply isn’t there for F. Not because we’re ignorant, but because we don’t have time or don’t want to waste time knowing that F would never want to progress to a social.
As you can see by taking the time to reply demonstrates that we do care about the lifestyle wanting to help others understand things. Don’t take offense or anything personally. It’s just how it is. We’ve had 3 no shows last three people said they’d meet us. That’s worse than just being blocked as we’ve spent days cooking up the sexual tension just to get ghosted.

But it isn't for no reason is it? The person obviously doesn't want to converse with you for whatever reason.
Just accept it and move on rather than whinge about it. |
