You seem to be very experienced on the club scene so you must have attended countless club nights, parties, events etc. yet you say that every experience you’ve ever had with a single male has been a bad one….as a single male I’m embarrassed and ashamed to hear that. With so much experience you must have met loads and loads of single males and it’s disgraceful that every one of them was a bad experience for you.
I’m a single male and i like to think i’m a decent person, a lot of my relatives and close friends are single males and they’re mostly decent people, i have colleagues, clients and suppliers at work who are single men and are decent people, all the men who are now part of a couple were once single men and I’m sure they were just as decent then as they are now…there are a lot of single men who are very decent people, so for you to have only ever met single men who weren’t decent and made the experience of meeting them a bad one, is incredibly bad luck for you. |

Tbh it was a broad sweeping statement weve overlooked after some frankly horrible times. Weve changed the profile but its still no single guys. We think the risk is too great experiencing what we have, even seeing the 1000's of single guys come through our parties and nights weve worked as consent monitors. It was the 10's that stick in our mind.
We know its not everyone. Weve been sexually assaulted countless times by men. By women. By couples. But only ever sober men. D*unk people cant consent. Its not discounting that behaviour. But D*unk people apologised when they were respectfully asked to stop. The guys weve met didn't. They doubled down. The reddest flag. Just not for us. |
