We used to go frequently to shellness beach next to Leysdown - but some years ago the parking next to it was done away with by the farmers (the parking was not offical and it is alleged that some abused the parking by doing things they should not etc)
I there another natuuris beach that is relatively private like leysdown and has close by parking, please?
We don't want to go to a place like Brighton where it feels you are on show - something in kent/essex or sussex would be good - we often go to eastbounre weekend breaks |

Yes, sadly it is what i thought having reseached the net before posting
If leysdown still had good acess, we would have gone again a few times this year
Now, we park up before the cafe there, just near that small golf area just after the last lot of caravan park on your left - there is parking there but its over a mile from there - we park before we reach the camper vans and have a bite to eat etc
I have arrange a meet, just a chat with a gut there before and it did not work out as guy was pleasant enough but went back on his word re being able to "accommodate at his place" then offering a "hotel" for lame reasons - a polite 3 min chat and we told him bye
There is parking further down at the wodden cafe place its got a gate on it but still too far and we have always feared the the person that works there needing to go early and closing the gate to the car park
Brith is a no-no - too public |

"Sadly, a lot of naturist beaches do not have easy access or parking. That is reserved for "textiles" only, not for us "weird" people who like to be naked."
In some ways that's for the best. When one wants to be nude outdoors the last thing needed is a bunch of gawpers strolling thru "for a look"

The parking at leysdown was down a hlaf mile long unmade road - so really, only those going there came or the few houses further up.
people did walk past but we went during the weekdays and there were hardly any pedestrians that were not coming to the nude beach |

ok - thank you both for the "studland idea - i was aware of that but read the access was not great ie far from car - another thig i noted from some comments about this beach it was massive and therefore, we may feel isloted as at times, we like to talk to men.
sadly, winter is setting in already, well in the sunny south east ie dartford it is and the outlook for the next 2 weeks is atum type weather and even worse around bournmouth etc
Thank you again for taking time out to help |
