Does anyone know of any good support groups that aren't religious? I've tried a few but find it hard to get past all the religious chat and the seemingly unrealistic expectations their god puts on them. TIA |

Have a chat with your GP about it.
I suffer from hypersexuality when my bipolar kicks in and it can cause serious issues. Doctor's are useless a lot of the time, but they may be able to signpost you to a non religious service (excuse the pun). |

Haha thank you, yeah I did think about my GP as they should be able to pass me to some kinda counseling but also kinda feel that makes it feel a bit serious... Guess I'll take the plunge and get an appointment  |

I've always been very sexual but after a spell trying to be "normal" I seem to have flipped way off the other side to the point that it's affecting my work and my finances. I was worried that I need to reign things in but I also wonder if I just need to try and "let off steam" and allow myself to have a little fix every now and then - sexual methadone if you will 🤣🫠 |

I can see that’s a problem if it’s affecting your work and finances . You seem to imply that you are not having total sexual satisfaction when you do have sex - yes, really go for it . Not sure if you have sex with men but some if the best sex can be had down that route , and far more of it too ! |

I perhaps haven't explained myself clearly but I certainly will have a chat with my GP. I hadn't heard of 'hypersexuality' before but, having now googled it, it seems pretty fitting and sounds slightly cooler!
I'm not afraid of being around guys in a group scenario but I find women absolutely intoxicating. If I could give that up I'm fairly sure I wouldn't have a problem at all. |

Not at all - it’s my lack of understanding. I sometimes think I have a problem , but I enjoy sex with men and women so much that I really don’t want to stop . Summer time is worse , as I go naked a lot and get very sexually driven . I’m getting older now , so very happy to still be playing and getting very hard .
