Not looking for someone shagging their way through the site?
Jump to: Newest in thread
What is the thought process behind those of you who put this in your profile? I’m curious to know.
As someone who’s well versed in the scene due to being in it for coming up to 6 years, I go to a lot of club events and speak to a lot of people, some I sleep with others I don’t.
I’d hate to think people assume this is what I’m doing because I have a lot of public verifications
Any and all answers are welcomed… |

"When I see this written I think 'you should be so lucky!'. .
Hahaha! I don’t know, do some think other users have been living life like a nun or a monk? 🤣🤷🏾♂️"
I think more people disapprove of multiple partners than would like to let on. |

"Having been in this lifestyle for over 35 years the verifications on here represent only a fraction of my/our activity."
You two are swinging veterans compared to me… when you’ve been in the game for a long long time and actively too, such things rack up naturally |

They definitely do, whether they explicitly express so outright or do so cryptically. I like to think I’m switched on enough to read between the lines of what’s really being implied. Last time I checked, swinging isn’t a form of exclusivity. |

...and as most of our activities don't relate to Fab anyway it's not a true picture, but it doesn't really matter as swingers aren't monogamous so shouldn't be anyone's concern. |

I suppose people will have an opinion on how others going about things even if that’s been formed by barely scratching the surface. But I do agree, it shouldn’t be anyone else’s concern. |

It's nobody else's concern.
When I see it on a profile it makes me wonder if those people understand what swinging is, and so I avoid them.
To me it seems to be sl*t shaming the people who meet others
Which I have had in my inbox 😞 |

Agreed! I always feel its rooted in slut shaming.

We try not to judge on any sort of personal level but when we see this on a profile it will negatively impact the odds of us prioritising a meet with that person/couple. Especially if it's a single female.
It to us is indicative of someone who isn't necessarily approaching the lifestyle the way we do; there for of potentially incompatible goals.
We are here for fun, and yes we establish some manner of relationships with our playmates over the years but that should never take the form of any manner of possessiveness or say in their behaviours away from us. That's not our business, with certain limited exceptions for things which may impact health.
For us anyone who has that on their profile is advertising at the outset that there's a good chance they are either not truly seeking a swinger but a new partner (hence why the effect is amplified with singles) or that they have a higher than average chance of getting a bit needy and or weird when we go and play elsewhere.
It's never something that would be conclusive though, just something we would consider in our decisions. |
