Looking to go for our first club visit in a while and we're gonna have to tell family we're going out and probably where we're going too.
Needs to be somewhere we can drive (so no drinking!) and where we're unlikely to have regular phone access for a couple of hours. We'd be going late morning mid week.
Thoughts so far have been cinema or spa, but its a bit hard to pretend to go to the cinema if you havent actually seen the film and mr isnt the spa type. |

If you think telling family the truth would be embarrassing, just wait until you get into the club and a couple of relatives and friends are already there... |

We havent had that yet! This isnt a tell the truth type situation though sadly, if it was just some mates we would |

Tell them you’re off swinging for a few hours, they’ll think you’re joking so job done |

Tell them that Mr is taking you to a spa as a treat or because he lost a bet even though he doesn't like them. If the club has a hot tub and/or sauna it's not really a lie.
Or say that you need some time alone together so you're going out together and will be turning your phones off for a couple of hours |

Well we used to tell the kids we're off to the naturist Spa. Thus a perfect excuse for being incommunicado on the phone, shutting down any futher questions and something we know they wouldn't ask if they could come too. So that worked perfectly.
Until a couple of years ago when a spiteful ex told them we were swingers. They asked us about this. They're teenagers and we didn't want to give the ex the satisfaction of having something over us or us squirming over it. So matter of factly we just yes and answered a few quires. And that was it, no problems, they were fine about it and we don't need to lie anymore. So it back fired on the ex, especially because it futher exposed their vile nature. Futher more when they want to know where we're going we just say off to the swingers club now. |
