I’m back on the scene after a VERY long monogamous relationship (no play). I was clean going into the relationship and have no doubt I still am.

I’m looking to get an up to date check but is all changed since my last test.

What’s everyone’s go test route for testing. My local clinic is going through a move so things are all over the place.

Any up to date advice would be appreciated

Thank

Yeah has to be SH24 if it's available. 12 week gap between tests is mandatory.

"Unfortunately don’t cover my area "

You have to book in with a local clinic. Though we’ve been told Carlisle is sit and wait only now.

I managed to call them and get an appointment the following day in July. The website hasn't worked for me in forever though.

Wow that's proper rubbish.

It was already bad enough having to take a half day off work to be a responsible adult.

I know there's a club or two that offer the free testing on some newbie nights, maybe I'll just hit them up for the basics and harass my GP for the rest 💜

Yup when I called to book in our Oct check up they suggested GP. Sure they’ll love that 🤣

Some places have satellite clinics, with reduced opening hours, or only open on Saturday...?

Central

I schedule in advance, to get the days and times I like, sometimes several in advance.

I do full tests as well as 3 monthly kidney function tests. Just had my vaccination to help to prevent gonorrhea, that's recently launched. I shift appointments if I want more

I'd encourage testing for everything they cover . And have travelled to other area clinics too, when I want to

I've got a local clinic i go to every 12 weeks. Practice safe sex but it's just good discipline. We've got a few options in Cambridgeshire but would use online options if those closed down or go to London.

https://fettle.health/

Seem good £80 for a full check posted to you.

Seems they recommend every 12 weeks.
