How to actually meet people?

"I've see some of those but never tried. Are there swinging clubs without the entry fees and memberships?"
How would the club make any money without entry fees?
There are very few clubs without memberships. |

There are some organised socials who dont charge, or charge only a very small fee to cover costs...they're a very good way to actually meet people, get yourself known and verified be known as sociable and human and build contacts...have a look at those...

Fab used solely to meet via sending message is hard.
Clubs are hefty to get into for single guys so it's not a option for all.
The arranged larger socials in the events section maybe a good opportunity to get yourself known a bit.
You have met 3 people and by fab standards that's actually not bad ha. I know it can suck though and it's hard to find regular playmates.

Good luck with that! There are some that don't charge membership fee, or only charge one membership fee for a lifetime, but I have never heard of any swingers clubs offering free entry, particularly to single men. Occasionally, there might be special offers for couples or single ladies.
Swinging is not a cheap hobby. |

Yeah that's what I noticed with some of the clubs.
Cool I'll give that a go and see what happens.
Haha that's good to know, yeah it is quite difficult..noticed guys saying a similar thing.
Thanks for your input |

"Interesting to know, thanks. Yeah I guess so..it does look like some guys are quite successful on here without having to pay for clubs and stuff"
It would be good if you used "reply and quote" so we know which post you're replying to, OP.
Regarding men being successful on here without clubs and stuff, yes, it is possible but probably most of those men, if not all, did some "leg work" beforehand, went to at least some organised socials, rather than relied purely on Fab. |

Also, you're in Hatfield, there is a very active Telegram group for Herts, Beds and Bucks, they organise social events, too - try checking the forum as they are probably advertising some of those.
There is also regular social in St Albans |

Gotcha yeah the quotes make it easier, that's a good point..most guys think having fab and messaging is all it takes, that's what I thought initially. |

That's cool thanks, how do I check the Telegram groups out? Ah nice St Albans is a good night out. How would I find those regular socials? |

Keep an eye on the forum, that's the best way. Sadly, I don't know the username for the people who are organising those socials. |

"We’ve met a few single gents after receiving a well thought out message and particularly if the message shows they’ve read our profile bio. "
Cool, yeah I've made a few thought out messages and had some responses but the conversation doesn't go very far after that. Do you like to message over a certain period of time or set up a meet fairly quick? |

"Any advice on actually meeting people and not just sending a bunch of messages that don't go anywhere or get replies?"
•
Are you asking if it's possible to meet people without reasonable and protracted messaging? In other words keep the messaging at a perfunctory level and "fast track' your meets? |

In a perfect world, it would be a few messages and set up a meet. Messaging isn't a good gauge on how well you'd get along |
