The one think I've learnt from swinging is never ever fall in love. If you feel then walk away xxx

Why? Is falling in love not recommended on here? Would there be repercussions and consequences?

Not always true. I know a couple who met through swinging and have now been married 16 years

"Well it's killing me"

Well it sounds like your talking from a recent or ongoing personal experience ?

If the lady in question is half of a couple then it's going to be a tricky and emotional situation that's going to take some deep and careful consideration.

You can’t change people.

Fall in love with the right one.

It’s worked for us.

It’s just the same in real life as it is on here …. You can fall hard for someone, I have …. You’re not alone ….

nit sure why it's specifically for the site

People fall for others in real life

Doesn't mean it's reciprocated or appropriate....

But unless you have found the switch to turn all feeling off it can happen all the time and anytime

Reading your profile and comments here, the last of which seems worrying, you seem very depressed. Unrequited love is as tough as it gets. Reach out to friends and family, do something that makes you happy, don’t reach for any off switches, take care of yourself.

Yet you can love a friend so why not have feelings for a swinging friend ?. As long as rules and boundaries are respected and never crossed...

Emotions are weird things in swinging friends, as a cuckold couple that’s why we prefer to play with married bulls (yes we know the frowns on peoples faces that brings) but single guys can become possessive or obsessive and the hassle that brings, not all I grant you but enough in the past to cause hassle, rather not go there again !

We both were absolutely NOT looking for love. Just two single parents enjoying a few sexy shenanigans with various people. But then we met on Fab and by the end of the first meet it was clear there was something different going on. So yes we smashed that rule and it worked out great.

Guess the rule should be, only fall in love with the right person.

Love and freindship are a spectrum in my opinion. It's natural to have love and feelings for freinds. I think it's easier to rationasile love and feeling as something different when you accept there is middle ground on the spectrum between say the love of your life and platonic freindship. I think to many people see things in terms of 2 binary boxes. This makes it confusing when they find connection and chemistry which fits in neither box. As a couple you have to understand this in each other. That's why trust, security and communication is so important.

I think it's fine for people to decide to protect themselves from hurt in the future by avoiding developing deep feelings for anybody. I wouldn't advise other people not to though
