We would have to agree, if someone from miles away messages, we do check the profile, they might be visiting a club over our way. Most of the time though theyre not and its surely not worth trying to arrange a meet with someone hundreds of miles away |

Just delete those messages. It's pointless opening/responding to people far away. Instead focus on those messages that YOU'RE sending.
I'm happy that there is no filter because the messaging facility isn't solely about physical encounters. People also message via the forums for games, challenges and participation.
In all the years I've been here I've only met one woman from London. All the others were 100s miles away. Long distance messaging works to my benefit and to my paramour/s'. |

I agree it can be annoying.
I had a man message me from 300 miles away, I asked if he was ever in yorks, when he asked to chat. He said no, so I said there's not really much point as it will never come to anything.
It turned out he was after sex chat anyway, so I blocked him.
I now tend to think, many from miles away are just after dirty chat that's just my experience, so I delete messages when someone is way too far. |

Chels and I love around 250 miles apart and meet up a few times a month, which makes the distance thing a bit tricky for us. I travel around the UK a fair bit too and have had some good socials with folks when I'm stuck in an unknown town or city for a few days.
