First stop GP.
Go tell them your libido loss is something you want them to help you sort out.
Be prepared to be detailed about how you feel and what you want them to do.
It probably won't be a single visit but a series of visits & trial and error.
Good luck. |

Oestrogen gell and vaginal oestrogen are slowly helping me. My desire hasn't gone down as such, but my anxiety around pain, becsuse of the changes in my vagina made me very wary. Honestly, the vaginal oestrogen is like magic!
Good luck

Are you on HRT? Getting your dose adjusted may help.
Oestrogen cream/gel topically applied can help raise sensitivity, so in turn improve your libido. It took quite a few months for it to help me which I'd been advised was normal - and you have to keep using it consistently.
Your GP can do a testosterone test but the options are minimal if your levels are low. There are no supplements licenced for women in the UK so you are reliant on your GP prescribing "off label." So, be sure you get a sympathetic, knowledgeable GP.
Have you been on the Menopause Matters website? Lots of useful info on there. xx

Androfeme is licenced now, but it’s still really hard to get prescribed. Definitely depends on GPs knowing their stuff which can be hard to find. Loss of libido is the key phrase to use though. |

There is an amino acid you can buy called pt-141. It's lisenced for women in the US as vilisi or vylisi I think. Works amazingly well for low libido, sexual sensation and also works for Ed in guys but its not officially lisenced for them. There are loads of videos on it on YouTube but it's worked wonders for us in the past. Once it starts working though you need to have a day or 3 free. Lasts upto 72 hours but can take anywhere from 1 to 24 hours to start working. Once it does the horn is unreal lol. |

Oh, is that a recent thing?
End of last year my GP said there was nothing licenced here she could prescribe. But she was also a bit useless, and disinterested, or maybe embarrassed, I wasn't sure which .... Luckily other things worked for me and my libido is great now.
I do wish there were more resources available to women around the issue of loss of libido. |

Ask your GP for Tostran 2% gel, it's not licensed but I have been getting it on prescription for about 12 months and it has turned my/our sex life around. Remember not being licensed doesn't mean you can't have it. |
