As the title says,
I'm on sertraline, and have been for about 13 years now. I've only got naked with 2 different women, it was a one off for both of them, and both times I was so nervous I couldn't get a proper boner. Do any other men on here take sertraline and have the same problem? |

I was on Sertraline for many years but didn't have a problem getting it up. The biggest issue was being able to cum. Sertraline makes it difficult to do so.
I paid a visit to the GP, a quick change of medication and it still takes a while but "hitting the jackpot" is now possible.
At least is possible to last for a while and not cum prematurely. |

Have a look on some of the psych forums online. There's a world of information on them and far more honesty than you'll get from GPs. Most meds have side effects. I'm upfront now, I tell folks we're playing with that I'm on Warfarin and sometimes my nob doesn't work. Pre-empting any performance issues let's them know it's not them being unattractive etc, and allows you to work with what you've got. |

I was on sertraline for a short while a couple of years ago and erection wasn’t an issue but as mentioned above cuming was… though now all working normally again… well almost 😂 |

Not sure if the sertraline is an issue here. You you’ve had two one-offs with two women and you were nervous. Nerves are the enemy of the erection, and if you struggle one-on-one then the sex parties and orgies you say you want to do will not be the best place foe you yet.
While the sertraline may play a role, being nervous and putting pressure on yourself to perform certainly won’t help. I know this from experience. You need to be able to relax with someone and spend some time on foreplay so you can put your mind at ease, which means trying to meet someone who will understand and with whom you can learn to relax and let things happen naturally. |

As TessTT says, this is a common side effect of all SSRIs. Suggest talking to your GP about changing it but bear in mind flicking to something else will lead to dip as one med wears off and another kicks in. Make an informed decision. |
