Best clubs for newbie solo guy

Hi everyone I hope you're all keeping warm.
As it's the new year I've decided to take the plunge and head to my first club, I've been wanting to visit one since last year but didn't have the confidence to jump in.
2026 is here and I'm feeling alot more confident so here is my question for the experienced clubbers which is best for newbies? What's the dress code? And what's the etiquette for attending a club? Hope everyone has a splendid day many thanks in advance |

Treat it like you would a bar in town dress decent smell decent and go with no expectations and you will be fine oh and don't become a member of the wanking dead |

Thought we'd be good to answer this as you're local and we've spoken before.
You obviously have 3 fairly local options.
Pleasures, DV8 and ME1
Pleasures only lets single guys in on a Friday.
DV8 holds different events all the time so best checking on their fab page
ME1 is predominantly a gay sauna that you can attend any day but 2 Saturday nights a month they hold bi nights for couples and singles.
Obviously the first 2 is smart dress and me1 they'll give you a towel so you can turn up wearing anything and just put your clothes in a locker.
Best club is really down to the individual, so check them all out and see what you prefer.
Etiquette is simple, go with no expectations to play, chat with people, have a drink, enjoy yourself and as the previous comment mentions...don't be a wanking dead (don't follow couples and ladies about with your dick in your hand lol)...and most importantly...never touch without asking/no means no.
Clubs are amazing and there are many people and couples with a vast range of experience and things they enjoy. Some will be nervous newbies too and some go with no intention to play. Like us for example, sometimes we go all out and be really naughty, sometimes we just go to be social and enjoy it like date night and only play with each other.

I’ve just been for my first visit to a club today and went to cupids. I thought going in the daytime would be better as it would be quieter so I could ease into it.
It’s a dress down club so everything in the lockers provided and just walked round in boxers,but you can also just use a towel.
I was nervous at first but after taking a look around I bumped into a gentleman who welcomed me to sit and chat with him and his wife,as I told him it was my first visit. We chatted away for ages about all sorts of stuff and they gave me some tips and understanding of what it is like.
After a while they decided to go and have some fun and politely welcomed me to join them,which I did.
Overall it was a really great experience but the main thing is just be polite and don’t expect anything when you go. Just chat to people and see what happens. I’d definitely recommend going in the daytime if you just want to dip your toe in. |

Last couple of times we’ve been there’s been more women and couples than single guys.
Never any guarantees though.
Some nights are great some not so much.
It’s a nice club though with lots of play areas. |

Thank you all for the advice it seems like it's generally be nice polite and don't pester anyone which is ideal because I'm not the kind of person to. Me1 seems to be the closest and easiest to get to aswell I shall however check all 3 mentioned out. I'm usually a shy reserve lad kinda guy untill I feel comfortable and I'm looking to being more outgoing this year and clubs seem to be an ideal opportunity to make friends |

My two pick would be:
The Naughty Pineapple, Leicester city centre. A really warm and friendly club. Reasonable membership and entry for guys. I would recommend a Thursday night, which is newbie night. Reduced entry for non members and specially dedicated to help facilitate new members to get accustomed to the club and its members. Also a great opportunity to get a verification, which the club are happy to do for good guests. It's a club I'm very happy to visit on my own as a lone male.
The second is the Attic. It was my first club as a single guy. Its no membership needed. Just turn up and pay at the door (again another club that charges reasonable rates for single guys). If the go at the weekend the club is huge so a good place to visit if you want the large club experience.
