Whatever you can see of them on your block list they can see of you from theirs if they counter blocked.
They'll also still be able to see forum posts and new pictures in the new and hot pictures lists. |

Blocking seems to stop you from seeing their profile at all. Also, when we block people they stop appearing on our local feed.
We block a few people just because of the status updates or pictures they keep posting. Scaly old feet and then like or gash pics, just no. |

Exactly. I've just blocked yet another because of the repulsive picture they've posted. It might be the sort of thing that would interest a hospital department dealing in the more intimate aspects of healthcare but it's difficult to be certain exactly which. I don't need to see that sort of horror show in my local updates. |

I don't think so...I block people for annoying statuses locally all the time so I can't see them... |

Forgive me for jumping in this thread - I blocked a profile for being a time waster and being a bit stalkerish (yes really). I also put their profile in my update. Does the fact that I’ve blocked them show up for anyone else, or is the name and shame the only way? |

No-one can see who you have blocked except you and the profile that has been blocked.
Naming and shaming is against site rules and you could find yourself with a status ban for rule breaking |

If you look at your blocked list you can still see their profile picture and you can see their status updates if they have one posted. You can also still see their photos when they show in the new pictures list.
All blocking does is stop you seeing their full profile, they wont show in searches or update lists and they can't message you. |
