Like many/most couples profiles, ours is all of the female showing her body (with both of our facepics for friends only).
Is it therefore hypocritical of us to be annoyed or put off by men's profiles with pics that are all of their penis?
We only ask, because we assumed women generally aren't that interested in seeing dick pics - seen one, seen 'em all - whereas men like seeing naked women.
Are we right or wrong in this assumption? |

A few things come to mind. Firstly, as part of a couple looking for a couple, I won't message a profile if there's no pics of Mr.
But, I don't need to see 5 pics of a cock from different angles, lol.
Unfortunately, woman have more variety to offer photographically in my opinion. Pretty lingerie, various angles emphasizing each of our body parts, shoes, stockings etc. And generally we're more enthusiastic about being photographed. And yep, men are in the majority on here and they like to see us. 💕 |

I want to meet and be actually interested in someone before I start seeing anything overly graphic.
I always make people aware of this when we start chatting.
Graphic Lady pictures are just as off putting as mens.

You make a good point, OP. Men are dammed if they and damned if they don't on here. That said, there's only so much you can do with a dick pic.
Another aspect of this that bothers me, is how men are not allowed to post photos of anyone but themselves but there are countless photos on couple profiles where there are other people in them and this is allowed. |

I think it's a little bit hypocritical yes.
I'm half a couple, but if there are no pics of the man at all visible or just cock pics, we delete any winks or messages.
Whilst just dick pics aren't good, neither is a profile full of just one person,when they seek couples.
Most of us will expect to see both people in a couple profile, looking to meet other couples..

That is fair. I wonder if there’s an issue if men also needing to feel wanted in the same way women do (we all are human after all) which then leads to despondency and a lack of willingness to be publicly visible which in turn creates a lack of interest and the cycle endlessly repeats lol

Yup this is why I referred to it as a cycle. It requires the pre use “if the man is not feeling wanted” to be true and then kick starts and endless cycle from there |

Faces are important too, yes.
But most couples don't include any in messages and if there's nothing at all of him to see, we're gonna just delete that message.
When past experience has repeatedly shown, that couples don't send pics of him, even when asked, we just choose not to engage now.
There's plenty of my other half on our couple profile, as we're after partner swaps. Then people can see us both & know by looking, if we'd be for them or not.
I do tend to fab pics of the man of a couple, when I see them, so they know it's appreciated. |

Not sure if it's double standards.
Couples like to see the person not just the dick but we tend to have too many dick pics on our profile and we still send dick pics in messages. So we are not really listening to our target audience and responding what they are asking for.
Men are visually stimulated and I for one love seeing every part of the female form and I love seeing to different body shapes.

It's really simple for me. I've never met anyone without seeing a face photo and also verifying over WhatsApp/Telegram.
I was burnt when I was green to this 15 years ago but never again.
No face pic, no meet. I've ended countless conversations about meeting on this basis. |

Where they don't, it suggests that there may be a deficit in their understanding of and empathy for the desired gender.

We tend to use people's profiles as filters. If they're not showing us the things we like to see we know we're not compatible.
I'm a big believer in people having exactly what they want in their picture gallery and profile text. |

Not always double standards. Just us two in our photos.
We don't like, and don't need to see people in photos other than the profile owner(s.) We don't need a photo CV of their sexual prowess.
If a party profile has loads of photos of party attendees we're also put off, and wouldn't attend.
It's partly about potential lack of consent, and partly because they're simply not needed. Good verifications tell us what we need to know. |

I think what Sophie is saying, is often people don't think about what the people they want to attract would want to see.
Ie men/couples showing multiple action shots with others in, many couples and ladies won't be attracted to that.
When couples just show the lady, yet seek other couples to play with, they are almost disregarding the woman of the couple. As she can't see anything of the male and therefore will pass that profile by.
Of course people can show whatever they choose on their profiles, but I've seen so many moans on the forum, from couples with just the lady who can't attract women or couples. Or they don't like that men just address the woman, yet it doesn't look as if it's a couple account. |
