We were at a swinging house party recently, and a woman squirted on the sofa. It was seen as really horny 'in the moment', but later, when the wet bit of the sofa had gone cold, no-one wanted to sit on it.

Someone's kindly PM us about the Skene's gland - really interesting and something we didn't know.
But from what we can gather, the Skene's gland only produces a tiny amount of liquid, not a sofa-soaking squirt |

There are numerous threads about this. And squirting is certainly not the same as watersports in practice - not debating the chemical make-up.
The lady squirting didn't choose to wee on a sofa, it was a response to pleasurable stimulation. Why would you try to kink shame? |

The one and only time it's ever happened to me, it certainly wasn't urine.

We seem to have inadvertently offended some people with this post. Sorry.
The intention wasn't "tiresome squirt-bashing" or "kink shaming" or impyling that it's not a pleasurable experience or denying the existence of the almond-sized Skene gland ...
We just wanted to know if a 'squirt' (as in a myriad of vids on Fab) was urine. Perhaps we should have asked that in a straightforward way, rather than being light-hearted. |

I don’t ever squirt but I do if it’s viable ( eg on a mat or waterproof bed at a club ) let my self go when getting deep g spot pleasure, it’s not me actually weeing but when I’m getting pleasured I relax and sometimes it’s been known that some fluid has come out.

Exactly this but I've long since given up challenging those who choose to delude themselves that a mattress-soaking volume of liquid has exploded from those TINY little glands.
It's just not worth the aggro so I decided to let them believe they've grown a special sex-bladder that modern medicine has yet to discover.
One day the rest of us poor primates may evolve sufficiently to develop such a wonderful organ.

But yes sometimes the bladder is involved in sex, hardly surprising with how anatomically close everything is really.

The squirt is very diluted urine sometimes mixed wih a bit of Skene glands secretion.
But it's not peeing, there is a different process of the body quickly filling the bladder with fluid and releasing it in one go. |

This has been an enlightening post for us - we've learnt new things, about female anatomy, how NOT to ask questions and how people react to facts versus what they want to be true.
We know now not to be too jokey when asking questions - in this case, not to take the piss out of squirting. (Sorry  Couldn't resist that one!)
Women definitely 'ejaculate' but this is different from the 'squirting' at the party we attended (or the numerous vids on Fab).
It does seem that some people don't realise that two things can both be true: That squirting is really pleasurable and that it's pee.
But what's especially interesting is that those who literally want to take the piss out of squirting (ie. deny it's wee) are mainly men. They seem to want to believe it's a special thing - perhaps cos it shows their sexual prowess? If so, that says more about the male ego than anatomical reality  |

Not quite true, it only takes a small percentage of ingested water at a time, it takes more if regular fruit and veg is present, but the more it is flushed out and released the larger its capacity gets as long as there is hydration to replensih it.
The skene glad is the body's natural living water generator, this water gets used for other things amongst them re-absorbed into the blood to become plasma so if it isn't used elsewhere the body only uses so much of it per day. |

I'm sorry, but this is utter garbage. I find it strange that in this post-truth era that someone's opinion or view somehow trumps scientific fact. Just read the scientific research papers in Google Scholar. The liquid is almost all urine with a small amount of "flavour" from the skenes gland. Doesn't make it bad, wrong or (for some) unenjoyable, but it is what is. |
