Advise on fake profiles please xx

Hi all, we have had a few experiences of fake profiles, guy's pretending to be a couple! Very disheartening when you turn up to a social meet and get given a load of excuses that "the partner" couldn't make it etc.

Any advise on spotting them before hand please? Xxx

Check their veris and chat to both couples on the phone if you can, some go on cam, personally I don't but it doesn't mean I'm not genuine, cams are just not for me.

A telephone call that includes speaking to both, will usually work.

Ask to talk to her on the phone first/see them on cam or only go with a couple with veris x

A quick skype to see them both or a quick phone call to speak to both usually 'outs' any fakers/bullshitters/dreamers. Don't meet without some concrete assurances that there really is a couple on the other end.

Only meet in clubs. So if that single guy pretending to be a couple does turn up he'll 1.Have to pay single guy rate 2. Will never get to play with me. And if they don't turn up the potential for fun is still there.

Cam is a great way, verifications can tell you a bit too.

It very important though that you report the fakes and help admin get rid of them.

Looking at verifications won't show much. We still haven't met anyone & we have no verifications but we are genuinely a couple. Willing to be on the phone & webcam, but no one wants to know. Doesn't make us fake.

Also beware of the couples profiles where they haven't met for a long period, especially if they only have one or two veries.

Sometimes they are genuine, but sometimes it could be that they tried it, she didn't like it, and now he's using the profile without her knowledge.

That's easily resolved you like cam and are not verified simply go into the fab chat rooms together and you will be very quickly verified.

My couples profile was verified that way within a few days of joining.

Verifications have a lot of tells if you know what your looking for.

I look at veris and won't meet a couple unless I've spoken to the lady on the phone. I'm sure it's not infallible but it's served me well so far and genuine couples have no problem with it.

My mrs hates typing, a bad speller, and asks me to do all the talking, I do feel uncomfortable about this and have given out our phone no. just to prove we are a couple, then we get pestered every day with phone calls

We had Skype for our couples profile too many one hand bandits on there so deleted it, fab chat rooms work a treat so don't need anything else.

Invest in a fab phone... Pay as you go for fab only... Insist on phone chat with both couples.. Works for us... Only one slipped through the net and always baffles us when get time wasters.. Have fun

I think...

Have their veri's got veri's?

Are the couple together at all in their pics?

Do the pic's look mordern(up to date)?

Are their pictures actually British? Look at plug sockets... Yeah I've caught someone out with this.

Does their profile have character/deals?

Are their pictures a little to good to be true?

Lol I think by all the tips above we are prime suspects for being a fake couple. We only have a few veri's due to not meeting many off here, prefer quality rather then quantity....

We would be vary wary about using Skype or webcam as a form of verification, as both can be recorded and faked from the other end.

A combination of meet veris, phone calls and 'too good to be true' scepticism works best for us.

We have a lot of veris and tons of pics but I wouldn't talk to you on the phone, I will barely speak to my mum on the phone so you have no chance....

We have never met anyone who was fake but then we take time to talk to people on here before we arrange a meet and we have found that just within a message or two you can tell if people are hiding something so I agree that you get a feel after a while.

One other thing is that we would not meet anyone who is not recently verified ...if you haven't met for over 6 months I would think you were using the site for socialising and wanted friends not sex so I would chat with you but very unlikely to arrange a meet

Almost every time we have been asked for a fem to fem call to "prove" our existance its been a guy and their missus is conveniently "upstairs" or " back later" . So we too will now not chat on the phone.

If anyone has the magic formula to avoid the last minute let down fakers do share it

Its general only couples profiles that give us a problem. Goes with the territory we guess . Xx

We do neither because we don't find it necessary...if people won't meet with us because of that, so be it...we find that people who are too much into the whole webcam/Skype thing never seem to actually meet...

Just a quick compare and contrast between their profile and pics will often give it away. We're talking to a "Couple" at the moment. The female is described as Blonde on the profile, but the pic sent has dark hair. A quick google image search reveals it's also from a French Porn site.

In addition to this, all of the pics on their profile look like different ladies, the size and shape of breasts change from one pic to the next.

Because some men on here will use the opportunity as a free sex line. Ive had that several times. They had no intention to meet. Got their rocks off and then either went unlos or blocked. I'll stick with meeting in clubs.

In all areas of fab a minority ruin it for others . Luckily there are some lovely genuine people on here to be found . I guess thats why we all stay?

Maybe, but certainly in my area most woman have fake profiles, which they use to spy on their meets, potential meets, their friends, their competition and the various enemies they make, through shagging their friends or competitions fuck buds. The garden of england section on here is rife with the green eyed monster and bitchy status's

I think one can tell the difference, when asked, "So, where did you go for your last vacation?", the response is: "Wanna f***"

If that is the case, then any kind of phone call could be a recording too

The advantage with a webcam chat is that one can then see if one feels enough physical attraction to set aside time actually meeting them

Yes, it's relatively easy to suss out quickly when the other side is being faked...but by that point, you have been recorded in a video trying to ascertain if someone is genuine for a swinging meet. A recording of a phone call is a lot easier to deny than a video.

Everything we do here has the risk of 'exposure', of course, but there are ways to minimise risks, and not going on Skype or webcam is one of the most obvious, if discretion is a concern. Of course it has advantages, but for us those advantages don't outweigh that risk.

Chatting is actually a great way to out fakes, my partner does this a lot on our profile and in the chat rooms, it's often chat about hobbies and interests and those that just want to get off leave the conversation very quickly mainly because they don't want to be social they just want to fantasies and cum in a tissue.
