How come you shouldn't use veet sensitive on your genitals? Not gonna say you can't use it because i have twice with no apparent side effects, just wondering why i shouldn't.
Bought the aerosol pump that is for genitals, and the other pump sensitive for other areas and used the wrong one twice by accident. |

I've had really bad thrush a few years ago and can imagine how painful that was.
I didn't even realise i'd used the wrong one until i went to asda to buy another, looked at the instructions and seen it wasn't for use on the genitals...yeah i read the instructions when buying but not when using for some reason. 
Was fine using this one though. First time it didn't work that well, 2nd time it worked great (but i left it on a bit longer). Surprised i didn't have side effects because when i've used it on my face i have burnt little holes in it (that healed easy enough but were painful).
Only difference i can see is one has alcohol in and the genital one doesn't. |

I'm a beauty therapist and the reason you can't use Veet on your lady garden is because of the way it works. It works by chemically burning away the hair and thus usually takes a couple of layer of skin with it ( usually just stratum corneum and lucidum ) so on sensitive areas it can leave quite the irritation In its wake  |

So eventually it will cause irritation?

I`ve used it with some discomfort but I now always stick religiously to the instructions then immediately run in Germoline Dual Action cream which has a local anaesthetic and sorts any discomfort. I always do it a day before any meets just in case I do have any problems. |
