Agree it does prove they are possibly, maybe a couple, there will be 2 people showing on cam and I am sure that in most cases it is an honest attempt to get verified.
But to those who set store by verifications (and not everyone does) it doesn't mean a lot.
It is quite easy to get a female friend to go on cam without her actually realising why you want her to.
It doesn't say that the people will actually ever turn up for a meet or that when they do they won't be smelly, pushy, obnoxious, too nervous, have a domestic row about what they are doing etc.
Cam and phone verifications are ok especially for those who only cam but they don't tell people looking for meets very much, so I see both the points raised.
To the OP, thats a general, personal view of cam and phone verifications and in now way aimed at yourselves  |

Yes thats true Jed,we personally do not do cam or phone veris,but it is a veri and some people see it as a way of showing they are genuine like a step to meeting someone and getting verified as actually meeting. |

thanks jnpwarril At least someone undersands where we are coming from when you cant verify anyone back till we have been verified first ! Abit of a daft idea really having a verified page that says !!!
For verified users only ! Sorry, you tried to access a page that is for verified users only. Once you have met or cammed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with other verified users, they will be able to verify your profile for you.
So apart from meeting up as we do !Or being verified by the site with pics
How are we meant to get verified or started ?

How do I get verified by other members?
You need to find someone who is already verified and ask them to verify you. If you are a couple or a woman then you can get verified by webcam or phone. An easy way to do this is to go into the chatroom while you are both there, switch your webcam on and ask someone to verify you. If you are a single guy then you need to meet someone.
This is what is said in the FAQ.
If this way of verifying someone is ok for the site owners, then I don't see what the problem is. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Those people who don't like cam veris can always bypass your profile. |
